Nephilim17 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Not sure he's a bona fide number 1 guy but he does have speed. Is speed on the boundary with our WR room enough even if a guy's never had number 1 production? Quote
SCBills Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Hollywood Brown, while a risk - a year removed now from his injury, is probably a better bet than bringing back Amari Cooper if we're being honest. I like Cooper if we didn't have Keon Coleman, but we need a speed guy/deep threat on the outside. I wouldn't hate it if we brought back the same Offense, re-signed Hollins/Johnson and then swapped out Cooper for Brown. Then focus the rest of FA/Draft on loading up this Defense. My biggest worry about Brown is that 2/5ths of our WR room would be Brown/Samuel and that's a lot of injury history there. May want to carry 6 WR's and draft a speed guy too. Quote

Buffalo is where WRs go to put up underwhelming numbers 😅 Brady was also limited to the personnel that he had and utilized schemes to win games. If he had a WR who could legit separate and win vertically, he would factor that in to his game plan I think the article sounds a little weird and don’t see the connection of Josh to Brown but would not be against signing him as it is an underwhelming WR draft class Edited 3 hours ago by YoloinOhio Quote

Some extra buzz for Brown has been created. ESPN screenshot is below. Are these the same "people with the Chiefs" who thought that Kermit & Co. were just going to show up at the Super Bowl and 'three-peat'? Quote

Bruffalo Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago This is basically getting another John Brown isn’t it? I think it’s a good idea, and I see a role to be filled. 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I guess I can be talked into it....I'm just not really sold on him being impactful / able to stay healthy he's played 25 games over the past 3 seasons.... Quote

Outside of some insane deal coming his way from outside, I cannot imagine a world where Mack does not re-sign. To say he was an integral piece to the 2024 puzzle may be an understatement... He did a lot, and he did it with his own brand of style that the fan base obviously loved. 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Shakir Coleman Samuel Hollins needs to be re-signed. His toughness, nasty, humor, love for his teammates and somewhat clutch is a great combo Cooper, I'd be good with re-signing depending on cost...although if they believe an upgrade is possible, cool I don't see Hollywood Brown as an upgrade to Amari Cooper Edited 2 hours ago by Warriorspikes51 2 Quote
K D Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago First Kincaid, then Coleman, and now Brown. Josh apparently has terrible taste in receivers 1 Quote

I think we will resign Hollins to a 2/ 8M kinda contract. And I think we draft another wr somewhere in the first 3 picks. I'm giving Coleman & Kincaid one more year to prove themselves. No doubt we extend Shakir. I want no part of this Hollywood. Yea - Altho Samuel was disappointing this year- totally going with turf toe limited him. Near the end of the year he was open A lot. Underneath / mid range with seperation and Josh just didn’t throw him the ball enough IMO. Hopefully that’s just lack of playing time with each other. the bills MADE their investment with him last season. 3 year deal is no joke. You have to hope you’re right. Can’t dump him too early. I could make a stock market analogy but I’ll hold it. Otherwise you’re spinning your wheels. We need to beef up - actually get a whole new cow on D. 1 Quote

I would love a talented WR on a rookie contract. I’m not sure about spending big cap on one. Our separation stats are so bad. I just don’t know if last years success is sustainable with WRs and a system that don’t create separation. Bad draft for WR really. ughhh wish we'd went to that well again last year. rspecially knowing last year was supposed to be a special class, and this years being dog chit.... not to mention the guy would be carrying a year into the offense starting fall 2025 Quote

I think there are some good players in Days 1 and 2... But after that it looks like a wasteland to me... I think anyone saying you can wait on WR till Rd 4 is being a little too wishful this year... Brianmoorman4jesus Posted 27 minutes ago Posted 27 minutes ago What a strange thought. Why? The guy would probably love to play with 50 better WRs. Why? Quote
2003Contenders Posted 11 minutes ago Posted 11 minutes ago 6 hours ago, Kirby Jackson said: Think back to last offseason. The Bills were in a tight cap situation and desperately needed help at WR. Brown was available and at a price that the Bills could afford. Allen had a lot of success with a lesser version of Hollywood Brown in John Brown. It should come as no surprise that Josh would voice to Beane & co. that we would be interested in playing with that skill set. He is/was a very good fit and affordable. Which is exactly why I question the credibility of the quote stating that Josh "long" wanted for the Bills to sign him. The team had the choice to do that last season and opted to sign Samuel instead (the Chiefs signed Hollywood a few days AFTER the Bills signed Samuel). I would have to think that Josh's desires fit into the equation when the Bills made that decision last season. Maybe Josh really did like Hollywood, but it would seem that he and the team preferred Samuel. Depending on what happens with Cooper, maybe the Bills acquire Hollywood after all -- and end up with both Samuel and Hollywood. Quote

He got just 1 year $7M last year presumably because teams wanted to make sure he could stay healthy... and he answered that question by getting injured on the first play of preseason and missing almost the entire year. So now his value has gone up? I know the WR market is bad this year but that still doesn't add up for me. I'd think another 1 year prove it deal is all he would get right now. If we can get him on the MVS deal from last year, by all means sign me up. If it's more in the ballpark of 2 year $16 million... not a fan but I'd hold my nose and root for Brown to have a career year. (Which wouldn't be saying much, because he's been a bust to date.) Quote
