We are in agreement that D needs most attention.  But the fact is, our last two playoff exits, our offense failed on the potential winning drive.  Mahomes only needed 13 seconds.  Our offense had 3:30, 3 time outs, needing only a FG- and the offense failed!  Last two seasons our D made stops towards end of game, and the offense failed, stupid.

That’s true, but looking back over the course of the season are you willing to swap out key players on offense on the hope that at crunch time of a playoff game they’ll miraculously be able to make a play? I’m not. I’d much prefer shoring up the defense so we don’t need to put up 30 plus each week (including in the playoffs) just to be sure we have a chance. Fix the damn defense!

Fix the damn defense! Devote every draft pick and FA to the defense, just give Josh one more excellent WR.

Yep.  There's no guarantee in anything.  To make the SB, you have to be clutch and somewhat lucky... and we are not.  We got the luck part when Andrews dropped the 2-pt conversion and could not finish the job with the clutch aspect vs KC.

Some minor tweaks on O and major tweaks on D please

Awesome.  We always want to be better.  You know what would help the offense score more? A vertical X WR.  James Cook 22% of carries were against stacked boxes.  A vertical threat opens up the middle of the field.  More space for Cook, and Knox and Dalton will be open more in the middle

Still elite run game and OL

I brought up the last few games, Coop barely saw the field anyway,  Hollins and Coleman out snapped him.

It all depends how they view Coleman and Samuel both showed flashes but lacked consistency,  Shakir is elite.. Definitely need to grab a wr or 2 in FA

Kinda baffling how MVS destroyed it in N.O after released.

Brady needs to implement more big plays and this O would be perfect 👌

I'd go defense defense WR in first 2 rds. Other than that and probably Ty Johnson,  the O is set

If the O is set, why did McDermott say they needed needed to add impact players on offense and defense?   He probably wasn’t talking about QB, OL, or RB… he meant at WR.

The Bills know they need to upgrade the WR room, which is why they traded away a 3rd round pick for Cooper.  They know Mack Hollins can only do so much as their primary outside WR.

Like I said, I see them bringing back Hollins, adding a WR like Hollywood Brown and drafting a WR as well.

That’s exactly what they need at WR and the Bills know it

Awesome, didn't score enough.

Didn’t score enough because the defense gave up KCs highest total of the season.

we scored 29 vs a good D and gave up 32 to a middling O that hadn’t scored over 30 all season.

the defense was the problem.  It was obvious the entire season

Good luck

WRs are a problem.  QB Stellar.  RB group- excellent.  TE group- above average.  OL- top in NFL, and excellent depth.  WR group- worst in the NFL?

Its remarkable how many points Josh puts on the board, with such a weak WR group.

Bills need to infuse the WR group with talent this season.  And all other resources can be spent on DL, Edge, CB, S

The defense was the only problem.  On O, we need an outside speed guy.  We don’t need a stud because we aren’t going to use a stud like a stud should be used.  We need someone to keep the defenses honest.

7 out of 21 catch, a 33% catch percentage after his return.  We wont need luck for major improvement.  Keon did not look like the same player.  Lazy routes. He struggled to beat Jams.  He fails to separate.

Prior to injury, I loved Keon's tenacity-blocking dude out of bounds.  He made some great catches.  He looked good running in space. And showed potential for being a TD monster.  But after that hit,  Keon looked disinterested IMO. He looked like a different player.  Hes young, and hopefully he get the fire back and keep improving.  Prove me wrong Keon

I mean major is a strong word,  considering he played for the highest scoring offense, plus he was a rookie and seems like he's a hard worker. No reason he can't have a break out year, Josh consistently threw to him in 1 on 1 coverage,  so some level of trust is there.

But yes, and upgrade would be cool but not a necessity

If you want to win a Super Bowl next year, it is mostly certainly a necessity.

Nobody here has seen anything to suggest Keon will make a leap next season.  We saw more from Kincaid his rookie year.  How did his sophomore season go?

The Bills should be looking to upgrade positions, and not rely on hopes and dreams.

There are stats to prove almost every argument.  we would t have needed to score if the defense hadn’t given up a season high points scored for KC.

We didn’t execute on offense-  that’s why we lost.  Not because we didn’t have enough talent.

Yeah-  you said it yourself-  you liked him before the hit.  Is he just now and forever the player we saw since the injury?  History would say no.  Most football players bounce back from a hard hit.

It's a weak draft for WR. You could still get a field stretcher like Isaiah Bond in the second. You're not likely going to find a WR1.

There's a lot of good DL, especially at DT. Beane needs to hit on multiple picks there.

I'm gonna sound ignorant here, but trade for one then. Our draft picks have been so dissapointing recently, I honestly don't really care if they give up most of them for one year. I know weve had some good picks, but the majority have not lived up to their draft status

Don’t forget to get your merch/ gear celebrating leading the NFL in points!  ( you’re not on the staff or a family member, are you?  JK !😀✌️

Nope.  Just a longtime fan recognizing the offense scoring more points than any other team in the NFL this year.

I do. When it matters, and someone other than Josh needs to make a play, who is the go-to?  Mack?

What are you talking about?!?..........JA tried like what 4 times on short yardage on QB sneaks without gaining one yard, when he could have very easily changed the call at the LOS and handed off to someone else.

You make it sound like JA is the only one doing anything, when in fact, he's not changing plays to even allow anyone else to make a play.

We're talking about 2 different things here.

The Bills need more talent on offense.  That is the point.  If Josh wants to play hero all by himself, then he can enjoy not winning Super Bowls.

Subtle additions on offense.  Big changes on defense.  I think with a defensive HC that side needs to make big improvement with the level of investment from the franchise.

How much talent do we need? If our First Round Draft Pick TE didn’t let the pass go right through his arms the Bills would’ve been playing in the Super Bowl. And in case you think I’m being a homer, the week before, the Ravens all pro TE did the same thing and they have Lamar and freaking Derrick Henry! Players need to make plays when everything is on the line. It ultimately comes down to that….every year.

You're not wrong, but adding more talent is never a bad idea.  If I were a GM, that would always be my focus.   Look at the Eagles' offensive skill position players.

They're loaded AND they draft well.
