This is a very interesting take.  Is it the drafting of talent or the coaching?  There is some talent there but doesn't seem to have consistency.  Rousseau, Epenesa and Oliver show flashes of dominance but they don't show up every week.  They have only one coach on the line and he doesn't have a lot of experience on the pro level.  I think a Kromer-type hire who knows how to sculpt the offensive line and knows what player he is looking for will help a lot.  I think he is integral in Torrence being a beast and the maturation of Spencer Brown.  Maybe this is what this Ryan Nielsen hire is about because he has a lot of experience on the line. Still elite run game and OL 

I brought up the last few games, Coop barely saw the field anyway,  Hollins and Coleman out snapped him.

It all depends how they view Coleman and Samuel both showed flashes but lacked consistency,  Shakir is elite.. Definitely need to grab a wr or 2 in FA

Kinda baffling how MVS destroyed it in N.O after released. 

Brady needs to implement more big plays and this O would be perfect 👌 

I'd go defense defense WR in first 2 rds. Other than that and probably Ty Johnson,  the O is set

I mean major is a strong word,  considering he played for the highest scoring offense, plus he was a rookie and seems like he's a hard worker. No reason he can't have a break out year, Josh consistently threw to him in 1 on 1 coverage,  so some level of trust is there.

But yes, and upgrade would be cool but not a necessity

WRs are a problem.  QB Stellar.  RB group- excellent.  TE group- above average.  OL- top in NFL, and excellent depth.  WR group- worst in the NFL? 

 Its remarkable how many points Josh puts on the board, with such a weak WR group.

 

Bills need to infuse the WR group with talent this season.  And all other resources can be spent on DL, Edge, CB, S

Situational play calling could still be improved, and total points for the season doesn’t change that.

I’m not sure what people want here. The purpose of the offense is to score points! The Bills offense scored more than any other team in the league. I couldn’t care less that they don’t have a shiny ‘superstar’ WR.

We are in agreement that D needs most attention.  But the fact is, our last two playoff exits, our offense failed on the potential winning drive.  Mahomes only needed 13 seconds.  Our offense had 3:30, 3 time outs, needing only a FG- and the offense failed!  Last two seasons our D made stops towards end of game, and the offense failed, stupid.

Just saying , we could score till we started faltering in the last two playoff games ( really we got lucky a dropped pass let us beat the ravens. If we didn’t score in reg , we have never won in ot , so a defensive stand would have been required and that was very unlikely). ,

Yep, when you start breaking down the Eagles season in comparison to Buffalo, you see they lost or squeaked by some lousy teams in low scoring games.  The Bills O needs to be competent, and it will be as long as Allen is the QB here.   But we need to build a team here with some very good D, not just relying on takeaways.  That's way too random to count on every season.  Bills D needs to be top 5 in stopping 3rd down conversions....not last.
