Steptide Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago It's the defense losing us championships. No shocker, but they have to do something 1 1 3 2 Quote
ColoradoBills Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Great job by all those involved. Bringing back the vast majority of those players could result in another high scoring season this year. 1 1 Quote
3rdand12 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago The Offense was a blast to watch last season ! One player could take it up another level I bet Its the Defense that needs focus and effort. 2 2 1 Quote

And that ain't Cooper unfortunately. 2 1 Quote
zow2 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I’m not going to get caught up in big blowouts next season vs lousy teams. That doesn’t help you in postseason. Bills offense is fine. They need to use 90% of their resources on defense this offseason. That’s holding them back from winning those final 2 games. 1 1 Quote

We need what Von was pre injury (8 sacks in 11 games) no doubt but we also have holes at CB opposite Benford and Dline depth to worry about. Quote
Jrb1979 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago As great as the offense was this season, my concern it will come back to earth a little bit. I would be shocked if Hollins repeats his performance next season. 1 Quote

The great thing about not having a number 1 guy you aren't over relying on just one guy to produce. Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I still want a guy who can stretch the field. Even McDermott mentioned this. 2 1 Quote

Dr. Who Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 1 minute ago, Steptide said: Agree 100% they need a true number 1, on top of defensive players It's a weak draft for WR. You could still get a field stretcher like Isaiah Bond in the second. You're not likely going to find a WR1. There's a lot of good DL, especially at DT. Beane needs to hit on multiple picks there. 1 Quote
MasterStrategist Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago An absolutely great 1st full year for Joe Brady and his offense. Top 5 OL, limiting turnovers, more efficient offense/explosive ground game. We still need a boundary receiver that can separate. Coleman and Kincaid have alot of pressure on them to step up, IMO. Beane made that clear. DE, CB, DT, S: same story different year. Beane needs to finally hit some triples/homeruns early on in draft, especially at DL and CB. I know this is about the offense. But I think we could get even better output wise, with a stronger defense. I'm all for blowing up the DL: cut Von, AJE, and Daquon. All are "net positive" savings on the cap. FA/draft, both, find some studs. B-level players, while useful in regular season, just doesn't get it done son. Beane, looking at you to fix this problem that beens alluding you for years. Quote

I was just responding to the fella who talked about needing a WR1. I'd like to have one, of course, but fast and gets separation, provided it includes catches the ball will be enough. Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago But let’s have month long conversations about Wr trains…. every single issue with this team is that the defense never stops anyone. Been that way from opening day of 2018. I’ll give them 17. Quote

It wasn’t even close to his best year in the league, I think it’s fair to expect pretty similar from him. Quote

Bringing back the vast majority of those players could result in another high scoring season this year. Yeah , that scoring title will make for a great parade and will be talked about for years , especially against the great competition in our division. Which part of the eagles squad played a bigger role in their victory,,,the d with a score , 2 picks , 6 sacks , about a 45% pressure rate , controlling the Top ,limiting Kelce , holding KC to 6 points till garbage time , or,,,,hurts playing pretty well , saquan playing ok, their wr playing very well , or,, special teams? Just saying , we could score till we started faltering in the last two playoff games ( really we got lucky a dropped pass let us beat the ravens. If we didn’t score in reg , we have never won in ot , so a defensive stand would have been required and that was very unlikely). , Our d has been our downfall every year , so run back that o , which was beginning to be figured out , let alone give def coordinators an off season to combat “everybody eats” You have Josh and cook with a breakout season and we saw how not having at least one other threatening star talent was stopped by KC once again. The team we haven’t beaten in 4 tries in the playoffs ( because we gave up 32points this year) , literally got 6 points till garbage time against a legit d. They were destroyed by a good front 4 forcing errors , and they were never in the game. So run back that o all you want ( it needs dynamic talent in the wr position), but if that d isn’t drastically improved it will be the same as it always has; D WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS, always does , and despite a defensive HC, this has been a wasted 8 years with the D ALWAYS BEING THE SUBSTANDARD PERFORMERS at crunch time , wasting away vital years of a superstar qb ( even an MVP OFFENSIVE SEASON DIDNT ALLOW THE BILLS TO SNIFF THE SUPERBOWL). Not saying it wasn’t a good offensive production year for the bills , but that is proof above all else , it doesn’t matter how you score as many teams can score. It’s about stopping the run, controlling the line , pressuring the qb AND SACKING HIm,and that is the proven formula to a Lombardi. The only exception I remember was the greatest show on turf , but the had HOF qb, rb, and wr and their d still made a critical stop. Don’t forget to get your merch/ gear celebrating leading the NFL in points! ( you’re not on the staff or a family member, are you? JK !😀✌️ Quote

I don't think he's particularly old. But he doesn't play really fast, and the Bills really do need better speed at WR. I hope they can get a pretty good WR1, but other than that they're set everywhere on offense. The already have all the depth they need for O line reserves, and all the starters played well. It's defense where the Bills have already invested so much and have so little to show for it. Quote
JaCrispy Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Unfortunately McBeane doesn’t know how to build a d line…oh well, I’ve made my peace with it… 1 Quote
