Just something that dawned on me yesterday.  While my first reaction to the Eagles is negative it’s pretty funny I’ve rooted for them in the 4 Super Bowls they’ve been in.  2x against the Patriots and 2x against the Chiefs.

Even back in the 90s it was cool to find a team that despised the Cowboys of that era as well probably more than Bills fans.  I still recall back in the 90s on the web finding Dallas Sucks pages on the Internet written by Eagles fans.

And yeah only AFC East team Bills didn’t lose a Super Bowl too.  Odds are Bills woulda lost last night if they made it.

Play them in the SB next year.   That will cure you of that quick.  Philadelphia fans are easily the worst and most arrogant(justified or not) fans in pro sports.  Yes, even worse than New England sports fans.

I don't think they're THE worst, but yeah, it's pretty bad. It's another reason why I didn't watch a single second last night. Two teams that I despise. I'm glad the Eagles won but I wasn't going to sit there and cheer hard for them.

Yes, Agreed, Eagles fans suck. KC has been the bane of our existence in the playoffs. It was nice to see them embarassed on a National stage!! Yes, I'm petty.

It's Chiefs, Patriots, Eagles in that order.

It was either a close win or them getting the brakes beaten off them. There was no in between.

True roster quality showed last night.

Who could be worse?   I remember my Yankees playing the Phillies in the 2009 World Series and despite the fact they the Yanks are the pinnacle of american sports success and the Phillies had largely sucked in their history they thought they were going to sweep them.   Yanks beat the crap out of them and made them look like buffoons(like the Dodgers did to the Yankees this year).    I mean, make no mistake,  Boston fans are Buffalo's biggest sports rival.   But at least Boston fans have some self-doubt when they are overmatched.  Philly fans are delusional and when they don't get what they want they are beyond terrible to their teams/players.

Dallas and Pittsburgh "fans", for starters

Philly has the worst fan base in sports, but I found the Reid-era Eagles to be quite a fun team to watch.

Donovan Mcnabb ('Cuse guy)

Brian Westbrook

Lesean Mccoy

The current Eagles beat Brady and Mahomes in the SB. Barkley is one of the more likeable players in the league.

I've found Ravens fans to be pretty insufferable this year. And, of course, Jets fans are perhaps the most delusional.

Hey…. Why no pretty girl shots of Taylor. Guess she’s not marketable without a big ole perfect fake smile.

She has become what she used to sing about in her early years: "She wears short shorts, I wear t-shirts, she's cheer captain, and I'm on the bleachers..."

She used to be a normal girl, and now she is a complete elite, fake, feminist pop star. I find her pretty distasteful now. But I like some of her music, admittedly.

Yeah those Pittsburgh Pirates fans are insufferable.

I don't think you understand the exercise here.

Eagles, Flyers, Phillies, Sixers........their fans are all the worst in their individual sport.

Nobody throws batteries at Santa Claus like Philly fans.

I agree that I don't care for the Philly fanbase.  They're obnoxious and many of them are giant a-holes.  Many of them take pride in being that way.  But I do like their team.  Barkley, Hurts and some of the other big names seem to be pretty good dudes.  Brandon Graham seems like an A+ kind of guy.  Plus, the guys in the trenches don't often get too much into the spotlight, yet the Eagles guys in those areas are beasts.

KC fans are generally nice people who are friendly to opposing fans.  Most of them say that if their team can't win it, they'd like to see the Bills' fanbase get one.  But I've had enough of their team.  The guys on the team, although they often say the right things in the media, are arrogant and smug.  Add on the Taylor Swift stuff.  NFL fans in general are sick of them, the media ball-washing of them, and the seemingly favorable officiating they've received, and would like to see someone else at the top.  That's finally happened.

One more item of note and a big reason I wanted Philadelphia to win is that the Chiefs have had an aura of invincibility, particularly in the playoffs.  Now, they've been beaten in the playoffs.  They're no longer invincible.  This should weaken the Chiefs' confidence and give more confidence to other teams like the Bills who face the Chiefs in future playoff games.  Not only did they lose, but they got their butts kicked all over the field.  This should embolden other teams to be more aggressive against the Chiefs and maybe that blueprint will work.  The Eagles didn't open the door a crack, they kicked it in.

If you favor a team with a terrible fan base over one with a great one.......well fans don't matter to you then.   You make a good internet fan.   Having to tailgate with those people is another matter.   Like I said,  play the Eagles in the SB next year and you'll find the totally ancillary Mahomes commercials and Taylor Swift stuff to be a lot less of a concern.

Fat slob Dom is just another reason to hate Philly.  He is no personal security guard for Sirianni. After the game when Sirianni was being interviewed, fatso was hugging Kelce in the background.  That is some kind of security being provided.

He is just a wannabe trying to maximize his 30 seconds of fame.

Fanbases aside, the most important point, in my opinion, for wanting Philadelphia to win, was to dent the Chiefs' confidence and aura of invincibility in the playoffs.  The Eagles did that and I believe this will be beneficial to the Bills and other AFC challengers next season.  It's now out there for everyone to see - the Chiefs are not the best team anymore, they're not invincible, and they most definitely CAN be beaten in the playoffs.  The mental edge that the Chiefs have in the playoffs is now dulled and that's good for the Bills.

Because of course I was referring to MLB's farm team the Pirates.

It's just your opinion. I give more credit to Philly fans for their passion than Pittsburgh or Dallas fans, who are a vile combination of ignorance and obnoxiousness.
