Coastie Posted February 10 Posted February 10 How long before the narrative for next year is can the Chiefs tie the Bills as the only team to go to 4 consecutive Super bowls? Or is it already out there and I haven't heard it. 1 1 Quote
DeltaDigital Posted February 10 Posted February 10 as if i couldn't hate that team any more than I already do. 3 1 2 Quote

skibum Posted February 10 Posted February 10 As much as I would enjoy watching the Chiefs lose four straight Superbowls, I'd much rather see Buffalo win one in the next three years. Quote

I meant go to four consecutively, not necessarily losing four consecutively. And of course if the Chiefs did get to a fourth in a row, Theirs would be better than Ours because they won at least two. And honestly, they would be right I think. 1 Quote
TheFunPolice Posted February 10 Posted February 10 After last night I don't think it's crazy that Allen and Mahomes end up with the same # of rings by the time they retire. Mahomes isn't getting to 7. Sorry Chiefs fans. He might get 1 or 2 more over the next 10-12 seasons. But Lamar, Josh and Burrow will have something to say about him continuing to play in the SB. 1 1 Quote
BADOLBILZ Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I envision Bruce, Kelly, Thurman, Andre and Tasker popping champagne like the 72' Dolphins next January. 1 Quote
DC Greg Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I don't think there will be much attention paid to that milestone. I think most non-Bills fans generally view Buffalo making it 4 straight as a minor footnote in Super Bowl history because they lost them all, as unfair as that is. If the Chiefs are in the AFC Championship game again and then also in the Super Bowl, you'll hear some passing mentions that they could/have joined the Bills as the only team to make it to 4 straight. But I think the majority of the focus would be on whether they can join the Steelers, Cowboys, and Pats as the only teams to win 3/4. Winning Super Bowls is primarily all people care about at the end of the day. 1 1 1 Quote
letsgoteam Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I dont think it matters, 2-1 (or even 2-2) is better then 0-4. I think 1-0 is probably better too. Quote

stevewin Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I've always considered 4 straight SBs to be one of those unbreakable records. Will be interesting to see how Chiefs season goes next year 1 Quote
Metal Man Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I'm sure it will be a big talking point this season. I recall it being a thing during the 2019 season when the Pats*** were looking to reach their 4th straight. Quote
Doc Brown Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I want Brady to call the Chiefs playoff games next year because Mahomes is now 0-3 in the postseason when Brady's in the same venue. 2 Quote
