Instead of the unnecessary rotation with Knox, how about they just let Kincaid play. He has looked pretty solid when Knox was injured during his first year. But that’s what  this staff does. Done it with RBs over and over again.

Getting Knox off the payroll might be helpful. 🤷🏼‍♂️

At the same time Knox looks better when Kincaid was injured. So who really cares.
Bills gotta be nice and keep everyone involved. Only explanation for Coleman seeing the field late in the season, dude was terrible

What makes you think the Raiders want Kincaid after the season Bowers just had

Well they took Bowers 13th overall after spending the 35th overall pick on Mayer one year earlier.

So it was more for me trying to get Kincaid off the roster and get back a Tight End.

Cook would garner the most headlines.  I could see him in a package for Garrett, Crosby, or Parsons.  Softens the blow giving up a stud defender when the fans get a guy they can draft in fantasy coming back.

I would trade Q.Morris and Elam with a 1st and 2nd this year...and maybe a 2nd next year for Dexter. Not sure if Morris is not a FA.

Cook is an interesting one with numerous running backs seemingly available in this draft.

I don't know if this would work, but what about this trade:

Rousseau, Bills 1st (#30), Bills 4th (#131) to Cleveland for Garrett, Cleveland's 3rd (#67) and 5th (#165).

If it's not enough, instead of Cleveland's 3rd (#67) they trade the Bills' pick back (#94). Bills also have Chicago's 4th which is probably #108 if there are 5 comp picks at the end of the 3rd round.

If you're the Bills do you do it? What about Cleveland?

If the Bills are looking to take big swings this off season I wonder if anyone gets moved to either open cap space or acquire more draft capital?

Seems like obvious answer would be Rosseau. I also wonder if Milano is a sneaky trade candidate, but I don't know the cap ramifications if that were to happen.

If I could get something for Milano, would in a second. I keep Rousseau because we’re getting Garrett. How valuable of a teammate would MG95 be for GR50?!

I’d pick at bad teams and try to fleece them by offering Bills players for their picks. I take them picks and trade up to draft great players. I’d sign FAs that fit roles,, not in the draft as Beane operates it currently.

Beane is stubborn and I doubt he is willing to give up on a high draft pick, but I would be looking to trade Kincaid. I would take a 3rd rd pick for him.

Knox is a better fit and is getting paid a lot of money. Take the L and move on.

This.  There’s the pride factor and him wanting to justify a 1st pick that he’s gotten some heat over.   I’m not sure they could even get a 3rd for him.

Plus it’s not like Kincaid has been a disaster overall. He’s just not the difference maker they expected and his return is nowhere near the investment in his pick.

The crazy thing is Buffalo would have been so much better selecting Sam LaPorta or Michael Mayer.

It’s because Kincaid is bad blocker and can’t play on the line.  He’s a liability in the run game, offers next to nothing pass blocking, and is not good on screens.  He is athletic and a good route runner but Bills have struggled to put him in enough good matchups.

They almost have to use him as a slot WR - same position as the best receiver on the team.

That’s why he doesn’t get the snaps when Knox is healthy.  He just doesn’t seem to fit in the Bills offense

Doesn’t really explain him producing when

Knox was injured a year ago. Fact that they both play better when the other is out kind of puts this on coaching and not the players

Thats why I would consider it.  The other team gains name value coming back.  Trading a fan favorite is a tough sell to ownership and fanbase  Those teams all need a rb too.

It burnt a hole through Beane’s head last year when he didn’t have a 3rd Rounder entering the Draft.

It was one of the primary reasons he made that trade with Kansas City for the 3rd-Round pick swap.

He’s constantly moving around the board with small trade ups and downs - the fact that he traded for Hines, Douglas and Cooper - the last two for 3rds means you need capital.

We have a lot of extra picks this year still, he doesn't "need" to get that 3rd back.  Last year our team has cap issues with $31M in dead cap from Diggs alone, and then we shed a lot of players due to age and cap, he needed a lot of picks to help fill a lot of holes.  This year is not the same situation, we don't have a ton of holes and we already have extra picks.  He won't feel the pressure to get a 3rd back, so he doesn't need to move someone like Kincaid just to get it back.  He could still of course, just saying its a very different situation than last year.

The defense is one giant hole

I don’t think you need to trade Kincaid for picks necessarily. I think you would package him where he would have more value to the team receiving him in a player trade.

Of course, the 3 teams I would like to trade him to, the Seahawks, the Raiders and the Browns all have big money TE’s but still lol. Is Kincaid and a second better than 2 seconds for DK?

Beane’s language against Kincaid I thought was pretty strong tbh.

I could see the Browns being interested in Kincaid. Njoku is a quality TE but they’ll likely be back to using more 12 personnel in 2025 and could use an upgrade to Atkins. My opening offer for Garrett would be 2 firsts and Kincaid.

Agree about keeping Rousseau if a player like Garrett is added somehow (though I’m not holding my breath). Rousseau has no bend so he really can’t get to a QB quickly. His only way to do it on his own is to walk the OT back and shed. That doesn’t work very often against NFL OTs. The reality is that he is a complimentary edge and needs to be opposite a quality rush edge to really be effective. That way he can shed and tackle the QB when the rush edge flushes him to his side. There’s no better rush Edge than Garrett in the game today.

Isn't Knox more of a complete TE?  Can Kincaid block?

Yes to Knox. Kincaid has improved as a blocker from abysmal to below average. That’s actually encouraging. He’ll need to add muscle and keep working on it, but it’s good to see the improvement.

Mike Geniti of Spotrac said he anticipates other teams blowing the Bills out of the water with their offers to the Browns.

I think it is unlikely that Garrett gets traded to any team this offseason. In the case they do end up trading him I doubt that it would be to an AFC team. Interested teams - especially AFC teams - would be best served by making their best offer up front.
