If the Bills are looking to take big swings this off season I wonder if anyone gets moved to either open cap space or acquire more draft capital?

Seems like obvious answer would be Rosseau. I also wonder if Milano is a sneaky trade candidate, but I don't know the cap ramifications if that were to happen.

Bills are pretty deep on the OL. Maybe a Bates type trade where we get a late rounder or late round pick swap for one of our guys there. I like RVD but he seems like he got passed on the depth chart a bit. Maybe they move him. Maybe they talk a team to take a chance on Elam for like a 2026 6th rounder, but maybe they bring him back because of his low salary as they seem to be leaning more man to man based on recent coaching hires.

Beane is stubborn and I doubt he is willing to give up on a high draft pick, but I would be looking to trade Kincaid. I would take a 3rd rd pick for him.

Knox is a better fit and is getting paid a lot of money. Take the L and move on.

I would say Rousseau, Oliver, Milano, Knox, Kincaid, Rapp, Anderson, Miller and Jones are all tradeable depending on whom is looking for what... Clearly to me Jones and Miller are too old really to bring in much, Anderson someone could be looking at like they did a Wyatt Teller saying I think this kid can play... Rapp someone might look at for a depth piece ... Oliver's contract and production dont match, but I could see someone who sees him better in their scheme... Rousseau and Kincaid would be the real "Chips" per se... but I dont think anyone is giving us a 1 or a 2 for those guys..

Not obvious to me about Rousseau.....but depending on what you get maybe.  You create a large hole by doing that.   And a review of Milano's contract makes that not a great idea.

I'll probably get roasted for this, but I think you could get some value for Benford that might be worth thinking about. With the exception of Elam, the Bills have been excellent at coaching up DBs.

EDIT: Yup, getting roasted, lol. I didn't say I wanted them to do this guys.

Agree. I just don’t see this regime opening up holes on the team. Pressure has never been higher for them. The only way they move any player of significance is in a trade for a true difference making player like Garrett or Crosby. They’re more likely to trade current and future picks for players who can immediately contribute.

Ed, Because as we see, size does matter a DT and he doesn’t get it done consistently.
Epenesa, pretty worthless.

O line is pretty stout right down to the bench players, so there is a possibility of sacrificing one.

Matt, as hard as it would be to let go of a great player, he may command more than he is worth.

We need young, early round D line talent, and we don’t have the capitol to get there.

Benford, Cook, Dawkins and Brown are probably the only players who could command an above-average type of return, but moving any one of them creates a bigger problem than it helps.

Cook is an elite talent but he's probably the most replaceable of those options. If your mentality is to sell while stock is high and get an above-value return, he's realistically the one guy who could fit that. And since we probably aren't going to pay top dollar for a running back while Josh is QB, it's probably a realistic argument to make -- even if he is the only other blue chip threat on offense besides Josh.

Don't see it happening, though.

Cook is not on the table IMO.
Rare talent running between the tackles with speed. A game changer next year.

Way too thin at secondary talent to trade Benford. Take a 7th for Elam though…

I don't think he's on the table either, just answering OP's question about who we could move for draft capital and who would actually command a decent return.

A 7th round pick for Elam? Yeah, maybe a 2028 7th....

Id explore Bernard's trade value just to see what it looks like. love the dude but his injury history has got to spook them a bit, and if youre already worried about getting him a new contract down the line, consider selling high (depending on his value AND WHAT THAT VALUE CAN HELP BRING).

What I mean is - dont open up a hole for no reason just because their is good value offered.  Get some feelers out there; and if you need to make a trade for a player on draft day (WR1, Garrett, Crosby), have it lined up if you need it

you wouldn't get a quart of pork fried rice and a pack of cigarettes for Von and his contract right now.
