Ramza86 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Allen would have fought through some of those sacks for sure and I think we would have had some success utilizing our RBS in space. Our defense would have gotten stomped into the mud. 1 Quote
BillsFan4 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I do think Buffalo’s o-line would have done better against the chiefs D-line but I still think the eagles would win. I felt like the Bills would lose to the eagles even before they lost to the chiefs in the AFC championship. I was actually kind of thankful Buffalo wasn’t in the Super Bowl when I was watching it last night. A(nother) Super Bowl loss would have been even more painful than the afc championship loss. 1 Quote
BillytheKid Posted February 10 Posted February 10 The Bills would have scored a lot more points. The Bills offense is miles better than KC’s. The problem is that Buffalo’s defense is so bad the Eagles would have scored just as much. Also the Bills offense wouldn’t turn the ball over like the KC offense did which gave 7 points to the Eagles and set them up for more easy scores in good field position. It would have been a shoot out. 1 Quote
KingBoots8 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I definitely think we put up more points, however I am not sure we could stop them any better if I’m being honest. If we have our normal starters we have a chance, though a surefire challenge. If Elam is out there we would have given up 50. Quote
SCBills Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Chiefs matched up horribly with Philly and Mahomes had a really bad game. Bills match up much better, but our Defense likely gives up 35 to Philly, which means Allen & The Offense would have to score 38 … but I think they could. Watching that game, Buffalo could have won, but it would have probably looked like the Rams game. 1 1 Quote

I would be absolutely furious if I was a fan. Had they made it past the Bills, they would’ve annihilated the Chiefs, and absolutely gave the Eagles a run for their money if not Win altogether. I think another factor to the Bills losing the AFCC besides the crap calls was playing the Ravens the week before. That is the definition of a physical football team. The Chiefs were not supposed to make it to the SB and were rightfully exposed as frauds. They benefited from BS calls up until the AFCC game. Refs/NFL knew that their credibility was at stake. This is what happens when u call a fair game. KC has less talent than the Bills. Reid, Jones, and Bolton are all pro bowlers, but their defense is very mid aside from them. They don’t have one All- Pro caliber player other than Mahomes on offense. Kelce is washed. Well recency bias can be a thing, especially regarding the Ratbirds. The Ratbirds finished strong but during the season got beat by division foes Pittsburgh & Cleveland, and actually got smacked around in those games. I think playing in the AFC North toughens teams up a bit. KC, Buffalo, all they have to do is retool a few positions and they're playoff bound again & again. Quote
Orlando Buffalo Posted February 11 Posted February 11 If it was Bills vs Eagles it would have still have been a Superman show for the Bills to win, but at least we know Josh can do that Quote

I don’t think Allen gifts the Eagles 14. Also, Bills led the league in takeaway margin, Suspect we might have had some points off turnovers in the early going. Quote
JakeFrommStateFarm Posted February 12 Posted February 12 No. The Bills would have been beaten like dogs. McDermott would have peed in his pants. I'm very sorry 1 1 Quote
dave mcbride Posted February 12 Posted February 12 The Bills, minus their only capable boundary CB, would have been curb stomped. Quote
Another Fan Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I realized the Rams were a pretty darn good team as well. They gave the Eagles easily the best fight in the playoffs and they beat the Bills in the regular season. I think the Bills would have lost a similar 41-38 type game to the Eagles as they did the Rams. Quote
stevestojan Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Absolutely no team in the NFL was beating the Eagles on Sunday. It was a masterclass in knowing your opponent, game planning, coaching, and utter dominance in the trenches. Would the bills have gotten beaten as badly? Maybe, maybe not. But with the defense we had at the end of the year, it would have been ugly just the same. Almost glad we didn’t have to see that in retrospect. Quote
