I hope that's true, and I'd guess career level wise it is, just can't help but remember hearing that the Panthers ownership is ***** terrible.

Good for him.  He probably jumped at the chance to get a promotion, stay in the NFL and leave the godforsaken snow belt.  Sometimes people enjoy a change of scenery.
