It's drafting.  Eagles nailed their first 2 picks.  One was after we made our 1st selection.

Scouting/Beane has to be better.

Sure, but TBH I think those assets need to go proven commodity. I just don’t think we can depend on the 30 something player in the draft making the type of impact we need him to have. Can it happen? Sure. But with where we are, you mortgage 1st round picks that are always late for us anyway. Beane has done fine in the later rounds. We need to target difference makers.

Go get Myles Garrett and find a difference maker on the D-Line in the draft. Boom. We are Super Bowl bound.

I would prefer Maxx Crosby.

Younger, cheaper, best run edge defender in the NFL and plays his best against Mahomes.

The thing the Eagles do that I love is whenever there's a guy that's slipping down the board, be it character concerns, injury or what have you ..they take that chance. Sometimes it doesn't work out but then it does they typically score a huge value for the pick. Baltimore does this too and both do it primarily on defense guys. And it's paid off for years for both.

Garrett is better in just about every way. Even when he declines he'll be better than Crosby. DE is the most important need for McDermott's Defense and he's the best in the league right now

1000% and what is great culture worth if it doesn’t afford you that ability?

Have they had a false start on every kick?

Seems like their kicker has nailed like 10 kicks but only half counted "p
