But that same Philly defense was horrible LY too.  They decided to invest in the secondary primarily, and DL.  Even after trading away Reddick.

 

This defense can be overhauled in an offseason.  Am I expecting Philly results, no.  But 3-4 new starters is doable...speed and physicality up front and secondary. We have 3 high picks that could accomplish alot. 

 

Beane has to execute and field a better defense in 2025.  I don't care if we get a Tee Higgins.  Is Josh going to play as efficient as LY?  Our defense once again held us back.  We needed a literally perfect offensive performance to win.  Shouldn't take that, we need a defense capable of playing like Houstons for example.

We really suffer from the curse of being just good enough in so many areas. The Eagles imploded last year. It forced the change that resulted in what you see today. I just don’t think this team will have large scale changes. As much as I want to see it something like that. Curse of being just good enough.

The Seahawks vs Broncos was brutal.. it was over in the first quarter!! The Broncos literally imploded immediately. Probably the worst SB I ever saw.

It was not like he had bad defenses.  What I am pointing out is against KC he came up short.  Today he got over the hump.  Are you picking up the analogy?  Bills have to get over the hump.  One game getting it together is all that matters.

I thought the Eagles were going to win the Superbowl when the playoffs started. I've watched a lot of their game and they were the better team in every game except the Ravens game. 

Their Defense is just so good.

I swear they have been blessed with big favorable injury disparities against their opponent in the playoffs the last few years.  I don’t think they’re even a top 3 team in the AFC without that.  I doubt they beat Houston if Houston had an offensive player or two back 

 

2020 chiefs team was that good but they’ve just felt mostly lucky the last few years to me
