Mahomes always starts playing a lot better at this point in the Super Bowl. The difference this time is his defense didn't hold down the fort for him. If he had the Bills defense in his career he'd have 0 Super Bowl wins. Guaranteed.

Nah.  Then we get a Josh mistake, or a critical offensive holding, etc.

 

Our defense can't be a revolving door.  And we've been top 5 and then suffered critical injuries.

 

But even those seasons, our DL was not physical and secondary way too slow.  Same issue every year.  If that's on Coach or Beane, which I'd say Beane, either way something has to be done about both issues.

 

At some point Beane has to be accountable for fielding a talented defense.  Our offense shouldn't be counted on to be perfect.  We basically missed a few key opportunities on offense this past game.  Not saying we shouldn't upgrade a boundary WR, but that isn't the issue.

Beane has poured a ton of resources into the DL. He just hasn't gotten any real difference makers for the cost of it all.
