Unfortunately this was a smart move by the Jets.  Aaron Glenn knows the deal with Rodgers and he wasn’t going to let him mess with the locker room.  
 

Pittsburgh might be the only decent landing spot for Rodgers.

I'm actually amazed the Jets made the right call. It's a painful hit but they'll be over it by 2026, and they have a clean slate.

 

I wonder if they are open to trading Garrett Wilson

Father Time and injuries have caught up with Rodgers. All I know is I’m thankful to get out of QB purgatory! The Jets are knee deep in it and I’m not sure what options they have other than tank this season for a top pick. 
 

I’d love Wilson as well but don’t see the Jets doing us any favors to get him.

He has the most wins of any current player, 4 time MVP, Superbowl MVP, and a ring. I hope Josh can be a "loser" like that some day too. He's not playing up to his normal standards anymore, instead of a top 5 QB he's top 15, but I wouldn't call him a loser

He was a great QB but never a leader. He’s a whiner, complainer and has a great talent for getting coaches fired.. which leads to more losing.

I would put Rodgers closer to 20 considering the offensive weapons he had and an offensive line that was playing pretty well once they put Olu Fashanu in.  He was basically Trent Edwards with occasional flashes. However I agree that he is better than what the Steelers had and that he looked better at the end of the season.
