Because he had the greatest QB if all time playing for him. I'll say it again. He had 11 seasons of being a head coach without Brady. He only made the playoffs in 2 of those seasons.

I couldn't disagree more.

 

I watched those games.  Belichick outcoached pretty much everyone.  It was the combo that led to so many titles, but I saw enough of how he'd coach the defense in particular to know that he is easily one of the best coaches of all time, if not the best.

There is nothing about that that says best HC of all time. He rode on the back of Brady. How about this, the year after Brady left NE he got another Super Bowl with Tampa. Belichick died off. If Brady had 5 extra years with Bruce Arians, he would ne going to the HOF to

Im saying based on the video of Brady and his analasys of his ability to read Defenses, he was Better at it than Allen in thier first five years.

I agree.  Brady was confident, but never cocky.  Mahomes is cocky and comes across as entitled.

There are genetics involved but Allen could absolutely get close to Brady’s level by studying more. That’s a fact. I don’t think Mahomes is better than Allen at the mental aspect, but he has Reid so it’s a cheat code. McDermott also struggles with this aspect, we’ve seen it time and time again in close games with questionable calls.

To be fair, Allen does rip KC’s defense apart.    With that said, the pre snap part of the game is an area that Allen could continue to improve.  He’s gotten better and continues to do so but that will be his last step that will take him over the top.

 

Wouldn’t hurt to have a good defense either

I wonder if he got one of his lower ribs removed to be able to blow himself like he's doing here. Guy is acting like he split the atom by saying he studied other defenses. I guess his opponents were spending the week playing call of duty while he "put in the work".

 

If he was that great at all of this, where were his answers for the two giants super bowls, the one where they scored 13 points against the Rams (and won, I know), etc..

 

Best QB of all-time? Not even close in my opinion. Most fortunate in terms of circumstance and just general dumb luck/cheating? The unquestioned goat in that respect.

 

Brady is the definition of a guy born on 3rd base who thinks he hit a triple.

He won 11 games for Cleveland in 1994.. they didn't win 11 games for 26 more seasons 

 

He went to the playoffs with Mac Jones.. the dude is the best coach ever

Allen has improved leaps and bounds with this...just gonna require more reps...and would be really awesome if he turned to Jayden Daniel's trick which is to use VR at 1.75x speed...that would greatly cut down on the number of live reps needed.

 

Why every QB isn't at home doing this 3-4 hours a day in the offseason is beyond me.  I would be relentless in using that, it's basically a free way to get as many reps as you want.

BB's problem is his drafting was garbage over the last decade and slowly eroded the team to basically be having to overachieve with subpar player to even make the playoffs and finally not even get in the playoffs the last year or two. Brady was covering up so much for him in terms of poor drafts that we didn't see the effects fully until he left.
