The mental part of the game is more important than the physical. If you know the perfect play to call on every down, both on defense and offense you win the game.

This 1000%  I would LOVE for Allen to get to this point. It's what @Shaw66 and I were eluding to in another thread.

Answer is, he is really smart, had a good arm, could read a defense like it was a child’s book, oh, and that cheating thing…,

The guy got caught cheating twice.    He is not the goat he is a donkey.   Can you imagine if Josh Allen had the defensive scheme of the chefs video taped to review….think maybe that would have helped?   Yeah that’s what Brady had for years.   Screw that guy.

For all of that,he was still brilliant.  And he is discussing how he tore apart the Chiefs Defense.  You know, like we need Allen to do.

He's much more likeable now that the Bills don't have to play against him!

still, he voted Lamar 1st place for MVP.  So I still hate him.

it is funny how I went to wishing for his utter demise to really liking the guy. There is no doubting his greatness.

People saying that Josh Allen should get elite at pre-snap reads is like someone arguing that anyone could be a nuclear physicist if they just studied hard enough.

What do you mean? Anything is possible in life. You're not born smart. You're not born an athlete.

Points for the fact that he seems genuinely amused by the "bildo" incident, though.

You may have been alluding to something in another thread, but it seems to have eluded this one.

Mahomes makes Brady so much more likeable

gronk. Still despicable

belichick. Growing on me

This is where I'm at.

I'd only go a little further on Belichick - I really like his analysis & seeing him on the shows now.  He has a sense of humor that we almost never saw when he was coach, and his knowledge is 2nd to none.

What!!!??? Talent is a thing. For example, some people are fast. There is no amount of work that other people can do to get as fast as them. That's like saying that "you're not born tall." Hard work matters, but without talent the ceiling is pretty low. It's harder to see with intelligence, but anybody who has worked in education knows that, while there is a floor that anyone can get to (unless they have developmental disabilities), some kids have much higher ceilings than others.
