What are these "underlining situations" you speak of?

The Ravens were a stacked team with 9 Pro Bowlers and with expectations of making it to the AFC championship game at a minimum. Many considered Baltimore to have the best roster in the NFL.

The Bills were a team that was rebuilding having let go of a number of their best players and with only 2 pro bowlers.  Expectations for the Bills was generally low with a lot of the national experts predicting they would finish behind both the Dolphins & Jets and not make the playoffs.

It’s interesting to me how it’s being phrased as an “upset” when, after week 18 Allen was the favorite for MVP. The “upset” was Allen didn’t get voted All Pro, not that he won MVP.

That said I think this played out the way it should have. In a race as close as this split it and let both guys get their accolades.

It's sounds to me that Bills fans are still complaining as if Josh didn't win. We're all impressed how humble Josh has been and yet nit picking everyone who didn't vote for him.

It sounds more like those who voted for Jackson are appalled that many of their peers did not agree with them. Their ensuing histrionics have gotten a response from Bills fans.

Actually, I was eating chips at tailgates and going to 12 games this year. I basically am single handedly paying Allen’s salary!

you could have said “I hope you got the Super Bowl you worked so hard for” but saying he deserves it more than fans (or Dawkins or Milano (and all his injuries) or McDermott, etc.) was just a silly comment. But I guess I root for the Bills and not just one player (even if that player is amazing).

I didn't say he deserved it more than Dawkins, Milano or McDermott. Weird bit of misdirection there.

But I stand by what I said... not your strange altered version of what I said.

This could be true too. It's always good to see the other side

Yeah.  If those all pro votes came out after the MVP award Josh would've went in as the favorite.  Maybe they should just wait until after the Honors awards to release their All Pro votes.  Add to the suspense a little bit.

Yep.  Lamar had the better individual season while Josh really took the Bills to the next level.  The proof is in the playoffs.  The voters got it right.
