Guess I'm wondering how anyone can say that when throughout the last 10 weeks or so of the season Allen was favored to win the award. Yes it did get much closer at the end of the season, but Allen was still ahead. The same article also mentioned how in 2023 Allen had better stats, that Lamar, but didn't win it. So why would it then be shocking that Allen won this year? Jackson sould have won it this year, was very close, but can't see how anyone can be shocked by results. In a major upset, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was named the 2024 NFL MVP in a historically rare victory Thursday night It’s all the spoiled Lamar fanboys and crybabies, MVP is the only thing they can ever really strive for and they thought their crying about it would be loud enough to get him another 2 Quote

Setting aside that his team didn’t make the playoffs, he is the MVP when he gets to throw to two top-10 wide receivers?! Imagine if Allen or any of these other great ABs got to throw to both of those guys? It would be unfair. Absolutely baffling. Easy to accumulate yards & TDs when you are constantly trying to catch up. He had a great season, but Derrick Henry deserved to be there over Burrow. 1 Quote

In a major upset, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was named the 2024 NFL MVP in a historically rare victory Thursday night Amazing it was a "major upset" when Allen had legit stats to win MVP and was leading most of the year by a lot when they justified giving it to Lamar last year for the same reason Allen won this year, even tho he had some of the worst stats for an MVP ever(compared to others in the same year). And not only that, he got 49/50 votes! It's like they are constantly shifting goalposts to try and make a case for why Lamar should keep winning MVP and arguing against the same argument they used last year when this year's player had FAR better stats than the player who won by a landslide did last year. Comical. Edited 3 hours ago by Big Turk 1 Quote

Generic_Bills_Fan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Just got a cbs sports notification titled ‘mvp controversy’ lol not sure what’s controversial about it, it’s not like Lamar had some huge blowout all pro win. Only took a couple voters flipping to Josh for mvp to change the result. Josh could just as easily complain he should’ve won all pro and didn’t as Lamar could complain he should’ve won mvp haha Edited 3 hours ago by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote

TheFunPolice Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I was so happy to see Allen win! Between his speech, just seeing him so happy, and the Oshei Childrens Hospital congrats video I definitely teared up quite a bit. Such a deserving player and person. You could just see from Deion's reaction how much the guy is loved. WHEN this team wins it all it is going to be incredible! I've never wanted the SB for a group of players and coaches as much as I want to see these guys and especially this QB get there and win. 1 Quote

Success Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I'm surprised by how uplifting this was for me. It was such a good season, and so disappointing to lose the way we did last week. It feels like this is at least something that we can take away from this past year. And for Allen, it's recognition of how good he is & has been - for Buffalo and for the league. 1 2 Quote
