Miyagi-Do Karate Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago by the way, I am getting annoyed with the Joe Burrow supporters. Setting aside that his team didn’t make the playoffs, he is the MVP when he gets to throw to two top-10 wide receivers?! Imagine if Allen or any of these other great ABs got to throw to both of those guys? It would be unfair. 2 1 Quote
May Day 10 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Allen was front and center last night, a feature of the show, and he also won a few peripheral awards. I think the NFL loves him as a face of the league. 4 5 1 Quote

Hes great on field, he stays clean off the field, hes marketable, hes media polished in a safe but never boring way, got the Hollywood girlfriend. Hes a star. Whenever his playing days are done, hopefully 20 years from now, the networks will be fighting over him. 2 Quote

This man has some of the most incredible stats in his first 7 years or whatever...that may never be replicated. and he was severely lacking in hardware. He finally cleaned up the turnovers and took a team everyone thought would take a step back to 13 wins and a 2 seed. He deserved this so much. Quote
stevewin Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Nice email from Oshei this AM with the video and heartfelt writeup. Quote Wow. Josh was already Our MVP. It took our breath away last night to hear his name announced as The MVP. His success on the field is known to all who love football. The ridiculous arm. The courageous legs. The miraculous leaps. The will-not-be-denied toughness. The child-like joy. That is what the voters saw in making him the Bills’ first NFL MVP in 34 years. It’s recognition that, even though his best playing days are still ahead of him, cements his status as an all-time great. But big wins and did-he-just-do-that plays only tell a small part of the story of what makes Josh special. He showed more of how he’s unique during his gracious speech, sincerely thanking everyone in the Bills organization – from the cafeteria staff to “Slick Rick” in the mailroom. He delivered a heartfelt (we hope you had a tissue handy) thank you to the sacrifice made by his parents, Joel and LaVonne. And, after recognizing each of his fellow nominees for their achievements, he went to work sharing his success. “I know this is an individual award and it says Most Valuable Player on it, but I think it’s derived from team success, and I love my team,” he said. What the world saw on stage last night in New Orleans, we’ve known for years: Josh is built different. That reality comes to life in his sincere, humble and compassionate connections with the patients at Oishei Children’s Hospital. Watch the video above, and you’ll hear his biggest fans tell you what we mean. Josh ended his speech Thursday night with a line that will make us smile all offseason: “Be good. Do good. God bless. And, go Bills.” Josh is good to the patients of Oishei Children’s Hospital. He does good through his commitment to the Patricia Allen Fund. His presence in our community is a blessing, well beyond game-day heroics. And yes: Go Bills! They are also doing a "17K for 17" donation drive - one of the "Fund All Stars" is matching $17 donations up to 17K donated https://host.nxt.blackbaud.com/donor-form/?svcid=tcs&formId=47d6e891-fcf4-4634-9e4b-38445c2fb14e&envid=p-UNxX4o08j0eAmA9J_E6mew&zone=usa 1 Quote
jethro_tull Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago He absolutely deserved it. The Bills are good but Jackson had a multi dimensional indisputable advantage by having Derrick Henry at RB. Capping it off is that the Bills had more wins in a tougher schedule and Josh all but eliminated his turnover struggles. Way to go JA, this is big! Quote

Unless I missed it, don't see anyone listed though do see Vic Carruci is a voter. Looks like Allen did get good support from the NFL Network crew Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago It doesn't take the sting out of ref screw job in the AFCCG, but at least they can't take this from him now. Well deserved MVP, but what makes Josh so special is that he is an even bigger MVP off the field than he is on the field. And its not for anything other than because its just who he is and he is being his authentic self. 1 Quote

No other person could’ve gave such an eloquent and positive speech like that. Great to see. Also helps he has a beautiful Hollywood star as a Finance. Need to go win that championship next. Quote
Nuncha Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago The award is so deserved. Josh is a great player and an even better human being. GO BILLS! 1 Quote
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Reading a quote, major upset, stunning were words used. Guess I'm wondering how anyone can say that when throughout the last 10 weeks or so of the season Allen was favored to win the award. Yes it did get much closer at the end of the season, but Allen was still ahead. The same article also mentioned how in 2023 Allen had better stats, that Lamar, but didn't win it. So why would it then be shocking that Allen won this year? Jackson sould have won it this year, was very close, but can't see how anyone can be shocked by results. In a major upset, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was named the 2024 NFL MVP in a historically rare victory Thursday night 1 Quote
JimmyNoodles Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Congrats to Josh! Certainly could have won this award sooner, but better late than never. One of the all-time greats at QB and we are lucky to get to see him play. I imagine he'll stay loyal to the organization and I really hope that pays off for him with a championship. Quote
tigerthelion Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Any person who thinks that Lamar should have three MVP trophies at this stage of his career has zero credibility and is a certified lunatic. 1 Quote
Orlando Buffalo Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I would just like to ask the guys who voted for Lamar last year and this year why they did it- the standards are similar. Quote
Bills Fan in MD Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I like where this is headed. He gets the cover of Madden for the 2023 season and NFL MVP for the 2024 season, so the only thing left is an "I'm going to Disney World" commercial next season. . . Quote
muppy Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 💙♥️💙 Congratulations Josh Allen. You are the MAN. We love you. GO BILLS Quote

I'm glad it's out of the way for Josh. It cements his HOF credentials and basically makes it so he has only a couple goals left to check off the list. 1 1 Quote
