Must be tough for Ravens fans, to have Lamar beaten twice by Allen in just a few weeks. First, he ends Lamar's great season, then, to add insult to injury "takes away" his MVP award. Not much left for them but ashes and vinegar.

Did anyone else notice that they put the wrong name on the screen for the defensive player of the year award? They called up Pat Surtain for the award and while he was speaking a banner popped up on the screen that said "Myles Garrett".

I had a suspicion Josh was gonna win it when I saw his parents sitting with him, and then they never showed Lamar once last night at the awards. I assume he wasn't even there

This is kind of bittersweet. No one deserved it more than Josh, but I know he would trade it in a second to be playing this weekend.

Allen played fantastic this year and he deserves recognition, but it would of been way more special along side of a Lomabardi

Considering what the expectations were before the season and where we ended up, an AFC Championship game and Allen MVP, I'm not particularly bitter about this season. 

 

This is a well deserved honor and it's good to see a guy who was voted "Most overrated QB" shut those 11 players down definitively. 

 

Jackson also had a great season (and he's a phenomenal talent), but let's be serious. If we dropped Jackson into Buffalo, would he have gotten 13 wins with the roster there? I doubt it. Would Allen do as well as Jackson in Baltimore? I think that's pretty likely. That's the difference to me in my eyes.
