Then the stupid Pats kicked that meaningless FG since they came up short to keep the chewing clock and they of course kick the FG to make it 13 -3. So the guy with 3 - 3 had his square hit twice for $1000 and then he got the remaining $7500 too and won a total of $8500. My wife still hates the Pats to do this day over that haha. She also calls me the anti poon because she won some squares before we started dating and hasn't won any since we started dating haha. So many reasons to hate the Pats, and this is the one your wife chooses. Any reason is a good reason I guess😉 Quote

So my friend Max got the final score in mine for $5500. But the lucky SOB was also in a $500 per square and $1000 per square pool and had the same winning square in all 3 by luck of the draw. He won $5500 + $27,500 + $55,000 and he also had other squares hit during the game in these pools. He won a total of $96,000 that lucky mofo. Edited February 8 by Alphadawg7 1 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted February 8 Author Posted February 8 For those who got squares, numbers are out, check your email if you haven’t already. If you don’t like your square(s)…I don’t care, mine are worse 😂 I swear I’m cursed in my own game, I always get ones with 8, 5, 2 etc. 3 of my 4 squares have an 8 or a 5 in them again lol. And of course that’s why I have yet to pick a winning square for myself in 12+ years. I have however picked probably 15-20 winning ones for other people who told me to just pick for them lmao I think the thing that made me the most mad was the one year I had a couple great squares was the year Brady F-ed the whole game getting a safety early with intentional grounding. That game all the weird scores paid all game that year when I finally had good squares. F-ing Brady lol 1 Quote

F-ing Brady lol A few years ago I wasted an hour of my life plotting all of the SB final scores against the squares. It was no surprise that 0, 3 and 7 came up the most (iirc) - but what was interesting was how often the "bad" numbers came up for the final score - and often for the winning team. If you look at just the last 5 SB's the numbers were 5/2, 8/5, 3/0, 1/9, 1/0. 1 Quote

That only shows the end of quarter combos though...mine pays every score change. So it would be interesting to see how many times each square hits throughout the whole game. Someone pay me $100 an hour and I will do the research and track every score of every SB the last 20 years haha Edited February 9 by Alphadawg7 1 Quote

Pays a dollar a second on the game clock with the rest of the money paying on touching squares at half and end of 4th. Quote

Alphadawg7 Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 First...thank you to the Eagles for finally beating the Refs! As far as my pool goes, TSW came in with quite the showing! 12 TSW peeps entered, total of 19 squares, and 4 won for a combined 30% of the pot! Congrats to: @Just Jack - $1000 @Offside Number 76 - $1000 @34-78-83 - $500 @Herc11 - $500 Biggest winner of the game was a friend of mine who had the terrible numbers of Chiefs 2, Eagles 0 as his square hit twice late for $1000 and it held for the final score to win the remaining $1500 left over totaling $2500. His brother Dave also had his own square hit 3 times for a $1500 win for the 2nd most of the game. Lucky bastards... I still won nothing keeping my perfect streak of never winning a single square in the 12+ years I have been doing this lmao. I had 4 squares, 3 of which had an 8 or a 5 in the score combo lmao. I also once again picked a winner for someone else, which I have done probably 15-20 times now but never picked my own winner lol. 1 1 Quote

I have still NEVER won a single square, including a couple friends smaller pools. But I have picked a ton of winners for people who said "just pick me a square(s)" and it always pisses me off hahaha. Ive easily picked 15-20 winning squares and 0 for myself. The Pats/Rams game my wife (who was just my friend at the time) had Pats 0, Rams 3 and already won $500 and with a minute to go she was looking at a $8500 bonus on top of that. Would have had everything that was left if KC had missed the last 2 pt conversion, numbers were 0/0. One of the ladies at the party I was at was in another format, $60 a square, $100 payout every minute. My 0/0 numbers would have worked out very well in that one. Quote

I've learned so many, well, three I guess, different ways of running squares, that I think I like more than the traditional end of quarter scores. Edited February 10 by Just Jack 1 1 Quote

Let me put it this way...there wasn't even a moment in the game where my squares were like close. Per usual. Still 0 for forever for me lmao. 1 Quote
Tuco Posted February 10 Posted February 10 3 hours ago, Just Jack said: How does that work? So game starts, one second in, whomever has 0-0 gets $1 each second until the first score? Yup. Lots of people around my area do $100 a minute but I have to be different, LOL. But yeah 0-0 is usually the desired draw. Unless there's a safety on the first play like a few years ago ha ha. But it can get interesting and the numbers obviously change the higher the scoring gets. So it's not always just the 0s and 7s and 3s that win. Last year the final 2 minutes or so were won with the dreaded 9-9. Been doing it for a number of years now. My smallest winner ever was $53. But hey, at least he got his money back, LOL. This year, with the touching squares added in I had 13 winners ranging from $110 to $1,243. Quote
