The Bills do not have an X's and O's problem.  They have a Jimmy and Joe's problem.  This offseason will hopefully take care of that for the most part.

A nickel zone defense would be perfectly fine if we had the front 4 to disrupt top shelf opposing QBs. As it is, we don’t, and we don’t have a fleet footed secondary, so they play soft and give up easy completions. If the new guy specializes in pressure packages, that will assuredly help Babich. His blitzes lack creativity and almost never get home. Hearing the Bills OL comment about how they were outsmarted at such a critical part of the game has to weigh heavily with the defensive staff to start producing a similar ability.

is this a serious post?  You think that is grounds for firing a Defensive coordinator in his second year?

Maybe, I dunno, hire a few Defensive PLAYERS, the ones who can either rush the QB or be within either the TV picture or 5 yards of the WR!

Isn’t this the dude who looked completely clueless on the sideline against Josh earlier this year in the Jacksonville game? Big mustache who came into the game thinking man was a good idea and then refused to come out of man as his team was being eaten alive? Color me unimpressed.

that isn't a way to judge a coach honestly.  especially when he has not been hired to be the defensive coordinator.

Oh, I agree that’s not all on him, and he’s just another piece here. Jacksonville was a disaster all around. But…does make me question his judgement.

Are you kidding me? Some guys don’t even get a full year. Head coaches get fired in 1 year. Absolutely yes. Our defense was terrible last year. If they fired him yesterday I’d be fine. You for real with that question?
