nedboy7 Posted Thursday at 03:48 PM Posted Thursday at 03:48 PM You don't get it. Inflation under Trump is just the natural forces of the market and global politics playing out. Only under Biden was it the presidents fault. It's like you haven't gotten your brain washing from X. 3

Orlando Buffalo Posted Thursday at 09:09 PM Posted Thursday at 09:09 PM The egg shortage started before Trump was in office, though I do appreciate how you think a real president can fix all the problems Biden caused in less than a month. 1 1
T master Posted Thursday at 10:37 PM Posted Thursday at 10:37 PM One of the main things that every one opposing what Trump is doing is IF the laws and executive orders he put in place his first time in office would have been left alone i believe that things now would have been much different but we will never know because Joe came in and with little or NO common sense to his reasoning started getting rid of things that were working . The cost of eggs went up quite a bit under Biden and so did groceries in general, gas was at 1 point way up, inflation was at it's highest in history but none of you are remembering that, housing prices are now a feakin joke, automobile prices are just stupid & all of this happened prior to Trump taking office but now like before he will be the one to blame as joe rides off into the sunset in his wheel chair . So unless ya'll want to go tit for tat on what one did prior to & what is now go eat a booger ...
Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted Friday at 01:38 PM Author Posted Friday at 01:38 PM George Will: Promises made, promises kept: Trump promised to raise taxes — by promising tariffs, which are paid by U.S. consumers. If prolonged, they are going to make Americans (a) less affluent than they should be and (b) disciples of Ricardo. For a taste of the coming madness, read the Cato Institute’s Jan. 29 report by Scott Lincicome and Alfredo Carrillo Obregon on how tariffs on Canada and Mexico will harm the U.S. auto industry and car buyers: Many vehicles sold here are assembled in Mexico with U.S. and Canadian parts, so much, sometimes most, “of the vehicles’ value comes from work performed by American workers and companies during production.” And: “About half of automobiles and light trucks exported by Mexico to the United States in 2024 were made by Detroit automakers.” And: “An engine, transmission, or other automotive component might cross the U.S.-Canada and U.S.-Mexico borders as much as seven or eight times before it ends up in a finished vehicle.” Why? Comparative advantages.
Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted Friday at 01:44 PM Author Posted Friday at 01:44 PM Job growth already slowing and the heavy taxes the Trump Administrion are imposing on American consumers have not even started yet! Was Post: The economy picked up 143,000 jobs in January, a slower but solid pace to start the new year, even as disaster disruptions and annual revisions to employment data weighed on job gains. The unemployment rate ticked down to 4 percent. <---people leaving job market? Job creation slowed compared with December, which clocked in at 256,000 jobs.
Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted Friday at 07:03 PM Author Posted Friday at 07:03 PM @US Egg 😂 Promises made, promises whatever....Why the egg prices so hi???? WHAT A MESS! And the tariffs are not even kicking in yet! https://www.telegraph.co.uk/us/news/2025/02/07/the-great-american-egg-crisis-looming-over-trump/During a campaign stop in August, Mr Trump delivered a press conference surrounded by meat, condiments, milk and eggs in which he pledged to “immediately bring prices down, starting on day one” of his presidency. But after securing victory, Mr Trump went into expectation management mode, telling Time Magazine that “It’s hard to bring things down once they’re up”. The president has claimed he can bring down food inflation through a mixture of boosting energy production, deregulation and pressuring the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates. However, economists have poured cold water on his plans, warning that there are few levers the government can pull to bring down prices across the board. 1
