Corta here and it has been a bit since I have chimed in schedule wise but this most recent news has my attention even more attune to the NFL globally.

The NFL today announced that the Rams will be going to Australia in 2026 as the designated home team. For those at home wondering LA to Australia is a 15 hour flight alone. This is the continuation of the NFL driving a larger international effort for teams over the last few years. In 2025 the following countries will be hosting games with these home teams:

4x England: Jags 2x, Jets, Browns

Germany: Colts

Madrid: Miami

Rumored: Brazil with Chargers hosting

In total the NFL could have 7 games abroad in 2025 which potentially could pit up to 15 teams abroad which is nearly half the league. The NFL has not been shy recently about wanting more games abroad and having the entire league abroad with relative regularity. When the 17th game was added many looked at it as a way for the NFL to add more international games because a team with 9 home games who loses one abroad still has 8 games which means the owners get a regular season with of revenue there. Much like the Bills in 2023 when they had 9 home games but the Jags in England was technically home. If the NFL were to go to 18 games the talk has been that every team would be going abroad once as the additional games allow it to be easier for teams (OWNERS) to not lose revenue while the league maxes it presence.

With the potential for 15 teams abroad in 2025 if you are not a fan of the Bills going abroad even as the away team I would start prepping yourself. The days are numbered before the Bills are gone once a year to some other country. My only hope is maybe it isn't to England given our luck there.

Its unbelievable what greed has done to this league.  Fn sickening

Wouldn't shock me if they're trying to make betting legal worldwide. I believe it's only legal to bet on nfl in the US, though I could be totally wrong about this

You can bet on the NFL in most of Europe as far as I know. Australia too I would presume. Probably a lot more countries too.

Thanks for the correction. Still wouldn't surprise me though if they're trying to increase betting world wide

Everyone says it’s terrible …and that might be the case …but obviously the people that run the League ( the Owners ) are determined to keep building this …my prediction is that by 2040 at the latest  all 32 teams will be taking a game internationally every year …that’s 16 games …

I’m pumped! Mixing international travel with the Bills is great. I had a blast at the London game

You are. Sports betting has been popular in the UK & EU long before it was legal outside of Vegas here.

The Bills have not joined the international markets program yet it seems.

If they ever did, they should choose Canada as every other teams in a state bordering Canada has (Minnesota, Seattle and Detroit) plus their new minority owners were stars in Canada.

They should also choose Jamaica as well, for ease of travel plus Jamaica loves sports of all kinds.

I can see a maximum of 10 games per year, between weeks 5 and 14, otherwise hosting a down to the wire Division title clinching game abroad is a bad idea.

I absolutely hate to see it but the only way the NfL cuts back on international games is if major players get hurt on the turf conditions at one of these soccer stadiums overseas.. only then will these owners stop worrying about the bottom line and start caring about the in season travel pounding these players will be taking.

He is doing what the 32 owners ask of him.

Too bad the owners don't ask for garbage officiating to be fixed 1st before bringing a tainted ass game overseas.

I admit it, I was wrong. I used to think the people who booed Goodell at the drafts were morons. I now see the light, and I’m wondering if a permit is needed to have a rotten tomato stand outside the draft in Green Bay.
