SoonerBillsFan Posted yesterday at 01:07 AM Posted yesterday at 01:07 AM Yeah the future blah, blah, blah. Beanes drafting hasn't been stellar. Just trade the picks for vets and let's win this thing. ( Queue fantasy football or Dan Snider comments) 2 2 1 2 8 4 3 1 Quote
BillsPride12 Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM If it's for Myles Garrett I wouldn't care if we traded our next three 1st Round Picks 2 7 5 1 Quote
TheWeatherMan Posted yesterday at 01:27 AM Posted yesterday at 01:27 AM Trade 1st and 2nd round picks for 3rd 4th and 5th rounders where Beane is better at drafting. Nearly zero playoff production from the last 2 years of 1st and 2nd round picks was a killer vs the Chiefs. 4 2 2 Quote
Patrick Duffy Posted yesterday at 01:29 AM Posted yesterday at 01:29 AM Yeah, at this point why not. Might as well do something similar the way Rams did and go all out at this point 4 6 2 Quote

This team is on the doorstep with its most important pieces all returning and it has continuity within the staff. Go get Garrett, use 2 firsts if you have to. Then if you see another player available where we can add a high quality player at Outside WR, CB, or S that could be had in a trade using one of our 2nds and maybe another pick if need be, pull the trigger. We got a lot of draft capital this year, and the least amount of holes to fill in a long time. Use some to go get the talent for a team that is absolutely ready to win NOW and do it before the other teams in our division get better as well. 8 1 1 2 2 Quote
billsfan89 Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM Beane's drafting from 2021-2023 was really good and the early returns on 2024 are solid. That being said I am for adding a big piece via trade and or free agency. 3 1 Quote
BananaB Posted yesterday at 01:47 AM Posted yesterday at 01:47 AM I’d rather some proven players instead of gambling with the way Beane drafts. Especially if they plan on going DL 3 1 Quote

Mister Defense Posted yesterday at 01:50 AM Posted yesterday at 01:50 AM Um, yes, I think the answer is yes for almost all fans, media, and also folks in charge, a no brainer. See all of the other threads on all of the big name defensive players people want, please... How do you think we would go about getting a Garrett or a Crosby? Not all of the draft picks, of course, but the draft alone will not do it for the Bills, though the draft picks themselves will need to do some of the heavy lifting. 1 1 Quote

Dare i agree with you? 😉 I’m down with trading 2 of our top 3 picks- for a top player then trade down a couple times or more with the one we keep. Elam followed by Kincaid and Keon hasn’t moved the needle. Not giving up on the playmakers just yet- but if we would’ve gotten anything meaningful from them in the KC game- we may have won. 2 1 2 Quote

SirAndrew Posted yesterday at 01:58 AM Posted yesterday at 01:58 AM I think Myles Garrett has made this board lose its collective mind. 1 1 2 1 Quote

If it’s giving up a pick of quality for another, and not to be disrespectful, Cooper. Then no. Keep any and every pick you were exploring to trade and hope the selections in the early round/s look like Cook and Cyrus in regards to his early picks as of late. I’m with you on the bold, it could certainly be better in rounds 1-3 since 2018. Edited yesterday at 02:36 AM by Sojourner 1 1 1 Quote

bmur66 Posted yesterday at 10:08 AM Posted yesterday at 10:08 AM All for not with this defense. Did anyone see KC move the chains 10 yards at a time at will? No one big splash trade is going to change that. 1 2 Quote
machine gun kelly Posted yesterday at 10:43 AM Posted yesterday at 10:43 AM As many have said, Beane’s 1st rd draft picks have been mediocre at best, and later rounds excellent. Go get Garrett and be done with it. 2 2 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted yesterday at 10:55 AM Posted yesterday at 10:55 AM Aside from Josh Allen, Beane's best first round pick spent was on Diggs in a trade IMO. So yes, trading for a blue chip player at position of need is a no brainier for me. 1 1 Quote

Of all the players on our Conference Championship losing team 35 of 53 are drafted here and the most effective players are ones drafted by us. Consider also we draft always on the back end of every round in the draft. I would say if anything our pro personnel department needs an upgrade. 5 Quote

Taking a serious shot, properly managed, does not mean crippling your team for the future. Rams ways has objectively been far more successful. And before blah blah blah NFC, Rams also did it with Jarrod Goff and Matthew Stafford, who are hardly Josh Allen 5 3 Quote
