He was honest, it still stings.

But, he’s going to get back at it and bring it again next year.

That’s our QB and we’re blessed to have him. JA, living for another day.

We MUST get the defense fixed and get him a WR that can stretch the field.

Can somebody explain the Curtis Samuel acquisition!! I thought he was to be the deep threat guy with the 4.3 speed?

turf toe injury since pre season.   its a bad sprain in the big toe joint.   you can't run at all.  he tried to come back from it probably too early and it lingered most of the season;  then he had another injury.

We haven't yet seen the guy we traded for.    He'll be 100% this season with any luck and we can see what we have.

I still fear he's redundant with Shakir and Kiincaid, but that's a different thread.

I’m sure he feels like crap. Two seasons in a row, the offense has the ball in their hands at the end to tie or lead, and gets nothing.

Two end of game drives vs KC for all the marbles, Zero points.  You aren’t going to the SB with that.

Agree with this. It's becoming pretty apparent, the defense is our downfall. I've been saying since we lost to kc that the bills need to hire a legit defensive coordinator

True but they did score enough in both games to win. The defense is the real issue, and it gets exposed in the playoffs against good teams with good QB's. Until that gets fixed Allen's career will go the same way Marino and Ewing's careers did. It won't matter how great he plays either.

He had his best season with Brady in Carolina.  Either his turf toe was really bad or he is washed.

I don't disagree at all, that's why I'm pounding the table to get Myles Garrett.   But with regards to Allen, and how it still stings, I'm sure he's thinking about what he could have done better.

Yeah, but next year it will probably be something else. Guy is always injured it seems. One of the reasons I hated the pickup to begin with.

Injuries held him back some this year.

But, truth is He’s never been that deep threat guy. He’s a get the ball in his hands and create YAC guy. The hope was/is that he can develop into more. He has shown at times that he can run more routes but he’s never really developed into that guy yet.
