He probably will. They’d have to go up to the middle of round 1. Our 1st and the Vikings 2nd should get it done.

Can you remember what Josh did against the Rams and the Lions in dome conditions? He was unstoppable. Now the Lions were decimated on defense but LA was a stout defense and we shredded them. Last week we scored 29 against KC and against the Broncos who were a top defense, Josh destroyed them. Every game is different and and you will look back on your post about Kincaid and Coleman next season and realize a rookie and a 2nd year talent sometimes takes a postseason or two to become great. Josh scores 30 against everyone.

The type who can happily live with everyone eats.  On offense it's about josh. After josh needs to be good to great supporting players without egos..  Cook.  Shakir.  Oline. Etc.  2024 buffalo offense was AMAZING.  No prima donna wr needed.  Keep it simple as that worked.great.

Need nuance, change of pace, leverage 

 

Watch DeSean Jackson in the clip up top.. going through multiple speeds in his route... Setting up and leveraging the safety just to go from 12 miles an hour to 22 in an instant 

 

That's real savvy route running with great speed 

 

A prime DeShaun Jackson would turn Josh unstoppable... I definitely would take Chase over DK because of route saviness and I hope we get get Josh a savvy route runner with some Wheels because that will take our offense and josh to another level

 

 

He needs one that is sensitive & caring. A strong man who is not afraid to show his emotions.

Josh is awesome.  Shakir is our best WR.  Hollins is clutch.  Cook is amazing.  Ty is the best 3rd down back.  Dalton had a 55% catch rate.  Keon cannot separate.  I see two weak links.  Offense was great, but can always be better.  Josh makes everyone better.  Time for Dalton and Keon to start pulling their load.  And if they fail again, get upgrades.  Don’t give Josh mediocre receivers

Jackson is a rare player. Every year there’s a skinny fast WR that gets compared to Jackson and no one ever comes close. Jackson’s ability to get behind a defense was rare. 
 

I do think Worthy has that ability, Mahomes actually missed him every time this year. I don’t think he will always miss next year.

Kincaid will be better, Brady didn’t scheme for him and after he was hurt Josh lost trust in him. He’s got too much talent not to be very productive. He catches that last desperation Josh fling, we’re talking about him differently. Coleman is a rookie that doesn’t separate but can high point 50/50 balls and is a big red zone target. He’s got a great resume from Mich St and Fla St and wants the ball in big spots.  Give him a pass for a bad game in his 1st postseason.

As you said there are 20 wide receivers every year coming out blazing fast 

 

It was his nuance and savviness as a route runner as I said in my original post 

 

His ability to set defensive backs up with nuance and leverage and change of pace 

 

That's what makes a special deep threat 

 

Worthy has zero ability of change of pace in his routes which is why I say he's nothing like DeSean Jackson who would change up the pace of his route.. he'll run it one time at 19 miles an hour.. the next time he'll have a slow release ..  and seem methodical until he turns on the boosters and goes to 20 mph in an instant

Correct, speed is a small part of why Jackson was as good as he was. 
 

But I do believe Worthy has that ability to change gears mid route. Mahomes literally missed probably 4-5 deep shots to Worthy where he left every DB. 
 

We’ll see. I really liked Worthy coming out of college. I don’t think he was only speed.

Worthy has talent but every single route he ran at Texas was 1 speed basically 

 

Don't get me wrong when the ball is in the air.. does he have a second gear to go after it.. yea

 

He doesn't change up the pace of his routes.. if you see him run seven drag routes.. 7 look the same.. if you see him run seven go routes they look the same 

 

DeSean Jackson had so much in his repertoire that none of his routes looked the same .. he could run a comeback six different ways.. he could run a go route six different ways

 

Worthy has extreme physical talent

2020 was the height of Beasley and Diggs. Josh tossed it all over the field.

2021 was also pretty good with Diggs, Beasley, Emmanuel Sanders and a young Gabe.

But this past year was one of Josh's most efficient and he excelled at ball security and QBR.  Not necessarily as fun to watch, but effective. 

I do think another boundary pass catching weapon with speed is needed to diversify our attack.

It annoys me to no end that our offense gets no credit for befuddling the kc defense pretty consistently lol we are a play away from kc being the one with the disappointing defense and us having the defense that gives up points but no one cares because we win 🤣
