I think he’s just messing with us. He stumbled on TBD and thought he’d get a kick out of messing with our crazy fanbase!

It’s gonna work.

............i'm on my meds today, so i got that going for me.

Something tells me that his charity is about to get a sh*tload of donations from Bills Mafia.

Anyone remember Mario Williams?  He was a great pickup for the Bills, 43 sacks in 4 years, but only 5 of them in his last season here, which was his 30-year-old season. He went right off a cliff.

Myles Garrett is heading into his 30-year-old season.

Just sayin'

Love the player but price tag and draft capital is gonna be way too steep for the production we would ultimately get out of him.   His presence will be negligible in postseason against other highly mobile quick release QBs.

That was more Rex dropping him into coverage than age

Well I expect this to dominate the conversation for the next couple months. And I get it. Personally though I would invest in rebuilding the secondary before I would trade the farm for Garrett. Mahomes had an average time to throw of like 2.2 seconds in the AFCCG, only 1.77 seconds against man (if I'm remembering correctly). I don't care if Bruce Smith is rushing opposite of Reggie White, you aren't getting to the QB that fast. A player like Garrett would certainly raise our regular season ceiling and maybe put us in contention for the #1 seed so from that perspective I would understand it. I just don't think it's the move that will get us past the Chiefs in the playoffs. We need 3/4 of our secondary fixed and we need a downfield passing game. That would be my focus this offseason.

If you trade Rousseau and lets say a 2025 1st, 2025 4th and a 2026 3rd or 2nd if need be then the beauty of it all is that you still would have the money to go after quality FA's to address the secondary.   The money that would have been spent on Rousseau and the extension that would most likely accompany a Garrett trade would essentially nullify what you would have spent on Rousseau (for the most part).

His deal is 20m a year for next two years. Bills can pay that. It’s a trade so unless they’re giving him an extension which would lower his cap hit at the beginning, other teams amount of cap space doesn’t matter. It’s if they’re willing to pay what the Browns want in return which could be picks or players.

If he is traded, he is going to get a new contract with it.  He is "underpaid" with his current contract at this point.

Ok, what’s the over/under on the page count this thread gets to?

more than The Errz Thread (™️) from a couple years ago!

I don't think so.  He had 97.5 career sacks.  Exactly 6.5 of them were after his age 29 season.

Why do I see him landing in KC and going for the 4-peat.

Can we throw Von in with the trade ? ... According to some here he was great at the end of the season and he was saving it for the playoffs.

Rousseau, a 1 and a 2? Who says no?

Honestly, that’s a good package for the Browns. They should just stack picks, get young players, and rebuild.

I would be hesitant to move Greg R because I feel like he would be the best robin to Garrett’s Batman and we could see the best version of him.

I’d do my first and some change. If they start ever aging for 2 firsts, I’m out.

We need elite blue chip play makers, and we’ve seen how putting all your eggs in one basket can work out for you (Diggs, Von).

I think the Diggs trade worked out just fine and so did the Von one until he got hurt.

This is exactly how I see it... 1 and 2 or maybe get away with a 3rd... throw a 5 in... maybe a player... gets it done... literally we could self fund this this year with our first one of our 2s and a player...

if Oliver plays on the same line as Garrett, Oliver is going to end up being an all-pro.

Wait, I thought Star and Daquan were going to do that for Oliver.
