Process Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Unpopular opinion but assuming it costs 2 first round picks and more, I'm not interested. 1 elite d lineman is not going to have a major impact when you have a swiss cheese secondary. I also don't think we can, or should, be paying two d ends $25M+ (plus 16M for Oliver). So we'd have to include Greg in the trade. Garret - ? - Oliver - AJE Meh 3 2 1 1 Quote

Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago If Oliver is part of the deal, does it include the horse he rode in on? 🤔 Quote

We’re only getting him if he wants to be here. He is requesting a trade to play with a contender which we are. Why wouldn't he want to come here? Also, I think Cleveland knows he wants to go to a contender so they shouldn't be expecting a top 5 pick back for him Edited 6 hours ago by Buffalo03 Quote
Pete Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago This draft is loaded with DT and Edge. How about we keep Roseau, load up on DT and Edge, and don’t mess up our salary cap on a 30 year old. I want the D to get younger and faster Quote

They’ll just send him to the NFC if the compensation is close. And they’ll give the NFC teams every chance to do that. One outside AFC option that I’d worry about is New England. I don’t think Garrett would approve that due to how bad they’ve been, but Vrabel just spent last season working with the Browns. I don’t know what their relationship is or what Garrett thinks of their upside with Vrabel at HC and Maye at QB. Garrett will have a huge say in where he goes. Cleveland won't do a player of his stature dirty. If he really wants to come to Buffalo (or another contender in the AFC) to chase a ring, the Browns will find a way to get it done. They are more than a year away from contending anyway and who knows how long it will be if they don't find an answer at QB. Nobody in the AFC they might deal with will be hindering any eventual title aspirations Cleveland may have. They should deal him for the best return to one of a handful of teams Garrett will likely approve, whether that's Buffalo or not. If the compensation is close and he only wants the Bills, then they probably take slightly less and move him to WNY, IMO. Quote

Kelly to Allen Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) How different would the Kelly years be without Bruce? That's why we need to make this trade imo These next 5-7 years with Garrett are way different compared to without. Edited 6 hours ago by Kelly to Allen 1 Quote

Myles Garrett still has a lot of good years left. You make this move Quote
JohnNord Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I would love Garrett for Buffalo. The problem though is that Cleveland is like $70M over the cap for next season. They need to find ways for cheap talent on the roster. I don’t think Rosseau would be much of a bargaining chip considering he’s on a one-year deal. Plus his extension will end up close to what Garrett would make. Draft picks might work but Buffalo is drafting low this season (30) and probably next season as well. It does make you wonder how Buffalo can put together enough compensation to land Garrett Quote
