finn Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I'm more inclined than I used to be to give away first-round picks since Beane hasn't been hitting on them lately. Three years ago, would you have given up three first-round picks n exchange for a player of Garrett's caliber? I wouldn't have. But I would certainly trade Elam, Kincaid, Coleman for Garrett now, along with extras. In fact, I would say his second-round picks lately (Bishop, Torrence, and Cook) are better than his first-round picks. (I realize Coleman was a second-rounder but you see my point.) So how about we trade our next three first-round picks for Garrett and the Browns' next three second-round picks? We win in two ways. 1 Quote

Magox Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago While we're dreaming here, Bills get: Denzel Ward, Myles Garrett Cleveland gets: 2025 1st, 2026 1st, 2027 1st, Bernard, Kair Elam and Epenesa. This is a move all the Chips in sorta move. lol 1 3 Quote
LabattBlue Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I love how some want to include 1st round bust, Elam, as part of a trade for Garrett. 😂 What makes anyone think that even the dumbass Browns organization would want Elam? 2 Quote

Elam doesn't have much value but if the Browns are removing a CB from their roster a $2M flyer on Elam could make sense as a talented flyer who fits as a man corner. It's just a sweetener though. Like 7th round value. The one I don't get is Browns fans wanting James Cook. Yeah, he's a good RB but he's entering a walk year and it's a great RB draft. Just pick one on day 3. But maybe the Bills could get lucky and the Browns would do something stupid like assign great value to Cook like the Texans did when they swapped Hopkins for David Johnson. Imagine Cook, Rousseau, 2026#1 and Elam for Garrett and Ward and the Bills 2025 3rd returned. Maybe throw RVD in there to give them a decent, seasoned prospect OT with upside and then draft a substitute for him for Kromer to develop with one of those comp picks on day 3. I don't want to give up Rousseau but just hypothesizing what a Browns player-for-player deal might look like. And if they are not sold on just getting picks(see how the Julio Jones bonanza of picks ended up a disaster for them).......but want a #1 to help move up for a QB in 2026.........and aren't afraid of walk years........then it certainly wouldn't be the craziest trade package ever. Prime Hopkins for a #2 and David Johnson was way worse value. 1 Quote

Season still ends early no matter what as we might not win that road game. We don't beat the Chiefs without him. But again season still ended early. Respectfully disagree. There wasn’t a single game where he was essential to the win. 3 games in his tenure that were decided by one score. 2 regular season and one in the playoffs. @Detroit, he didn’t play vs. New England, 1 catch for 10 yards. vs. Baltimore, 1 target, 0 receptions. Should have been better given the pick and his experience. Couple that with the limit on snap counts? Yeah… Quote
Magox Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The DeShaun Watson trade has to be the worst transaction in the history of the NFL. That move set the organization back 5 years, there is no hope that organization can turn it around in the next couple years. If I were them, I would do a wholesale cleaning of their high end talent and just collect draft picks to build for the future post Watson. Clean up the cap as much as possible and collect young talent. Also, they shouldn't even entertain the idea of getting rid of Stefanski, he's top notch and the reason why they have primarily failed was because of their GM. Yes, the Dorsey hiring was odd not because of the lack of results they had but Stefanski was always a run and play action sort of guy and then they got a passing coordinator in Dorsey which to me didn't make sense from a philosophical standpoint. With that said, they should just clean house and completely rebuild. 1 Quote
Brand J Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago James Cook is a stud, but if his value is inflated in a way that gets us Garrett, sign me up! Quote

Yeah… The chiefs game he had that catch on thefirst drive of the game, another crazy catch inside the five where we scored right after. to say he wasn't essential in that game is just ignorant. Did I want more out of him? We all did. 1 Quote

Buffalo Bills Browns get: 2025 first-round pick (No. 30), second-round pick (No. 62), fourth-round pick, 2026 first-round pick, DE A.J. Epenesa and CB Kaiir Elam Bills get: Garrett, 2025 third-round pick (No. 94, via Buffalo) and 2025 sixth-round pick (via Minnesota) I’d do it. 1 Quote
