Buffalo Bills

Browns get: 2025 first-round pick (No. 30), second-round pick (No. 62), fourth-round pick, 2026 first-round pick, DE A.J. Epenesa and CB Kaiir Elam

 

Bills get: Garrett, 2025 third-round pick (No. 94, via Buffalo) and 2025 sixth-round pick (via Minnesota)

No deal.  I'm not ready to move on from Kaiir Elam.

Would be something if the Bills take measures to add serious talent to the CB pipeline and then Elam, in his contract year, somehow suddenly takes a big step forward and earns a job. Which means either he figures out how to effectively play OFF coverage AND/OR the Bills figure out how to line him up in PRESS without being predictable. 

 

There is at least some reason to worry about the long term impact of Benford's B2B concussions 7 days apart in January. Especially with how severe the 2nd one appeared. Combined with an aging Douglas's play at times dipping below his pay, the Bills should be looking to restock the cornerback cupboards.
