If Jacksonville wants him Cleveland will have the 2nd and 5th pick.

We’re only getting him if he wants to be here.

He’s only getting traded to a team he wants to go to. He controls everything. Obviously compensation will have to be fair, there will be multiple teams he okays.

Reading his trade request... Cleveland might as well fold up shop for Free Agents if they trade him to Jacksonville.

O/U on pages in this thread before he gets traded to the Ravens?  I’ll say 250

But WNY has better "deers"!

Cleveland

I don’t necessarily disagree. People may look at Rousseau as a young, Pro Bowlish type of DE. He’s definitely a starter. I don’t see the Bills wanting to pay the $17.5-M - $23M a year it’ll take to keep him. Cleveland COULD look at him as an asset and a suitable starting option. If he develops, it’s a good trade for them. I don’t see him as a negative asset. I feel like this is reasonable.

Cleveland will ship him to an NFC team unless an AFC team pays a big premium.

Not so sure about that, I do not think they trade him in Division, I think in conference is really eliminating a lot of offers and handicapping yourself on the trade market...  besides, Cleveland is not likely to be good until Garrett is in his 30s ...

Other teams will offer more than a late first, a late second and a good, but limited DE who needs a new, large contract. Calling with that offer is the same as calling the Browns and telling them you aren’t interested.

If they trade Rousseau to get him, if rather trade the inside player like Oliver.

Regardless, if they do trade Rousseau to get Garrett, they need an opposite pass rusher similar to be Bennett opposite Bruce

Myles Garrett specifically said he wants to go to a contender correct?

This is big for us

1) scenario 1: after Bills land him for multiple 1sts and 2nds, thread: “well, worth it. Difference maker that will put us over the top.”

2) scenario 2: after another team land him, thread: ”wow, insane price. Will set them back years. And Garrett is washed anyway. Looks like another Von Miller situation.”

We are offering two number 1s to start.

Garrett, Crosby, or Parsons. One could hope.

Micah Parsons wants to stay in Dallas.

"The star pass rusher said he'd like to ink a long-term extension before free agency kicks off in March."
