This right here, our safeties and CBs need serious upgrades the guy is 30 years old give or take a few months, let’s not do a Von 2.0 and still have a huge need for Ss & CBs

He's actually 28 plus 36 days if you are gonna fudge numbers. Not 30.

It’s time to win now with Josh. We are so close . Plus Beane has wasted draft capital so why not go get the sure bet?

We need to make this deal

if the price is 25 first and 26 first, or 25 first and 26 second, then that's easily worth it from a draft capital stance.  more picks might be doable, 25 and 26 1 and a 25 2 is tougher, not saying it's a total no tho.

the contract is going to be the issue.  if he's gonna get 30+ per year, and with a lot of guarantees, then you have to consider how it fits into the cap structure we have.  allen would have to be extended, we'd still need to add a wr somehow, secondary (much more room in the draft there) and figure it all out.

i think the 2 1st picks would suit best if that's on the table.  we'd have 2 2nds to go get CBs and S and WR, or trade for a player (i think dk comes for a 3 if he's on the table, and his contract isn't bad we maybe could hold him on it for a year).  we'd even be able to extend some of our own guys if we chose too.

the way i look at it, would you trade elam and kinkaid for garrett?  that's an obvious no brainer.

our biggest risk would be having that much cap in one guy in the case he gets injured, but we had that with von and we still got exactly where we got.  the biggest question aside would be opportunity cost -- are we missing out on a WR or CB by doing this?

if we keep groot, oliver, and get some kind of DL depth, add garrett, you legit have a top 5 NFL front.  along w a top 5 Oline and RB room, and goat qb, you just find some players for the back end on the D, and everything looks way better.

we could mess around and upgrade RG in the 3rd or 4th and basically be what baltimore was with a physical miss match d (assuming we upgrade douglas, hamlin, and prolly bishop in the back) and a monster OL and backs.  the difference is we have josh allen.  that's a team no one wants to see.

Garrett is 28. Von was 33 when we got him

Not so sure about that, I do not think they trade him in Division, I think in conference is really eliminating a lot of offers and handicapping yourself on the trade market...  besides, Cleveland is not likely to be good until Garrett is in his 30s ...

I dont think the whole "in conference" thing makes any sense at all if youre a bad team like CLE.  Baltimore (in division)? Sure you say no.  But do the Browns really think the AFCCG is the hump they need to get over to win a SB LOL because thats the reason you avoid in conference

Interesting timing coming right off the back of ProBowl and him getting a chance to be chummy with all the superstars around the league.  I know Schnowmann was chirping in his ear all weekend, lets hope it sounded awesome.  Does he have any control over where he lands?  Im guessing he must with the way this was worded

I'm thinking at least a little bit. As much of a dumpster fire Cleveland has been while he has been there he's still a legend. I would think they would try to do him right.

As Bills fans we should be wanting Beane and co. to completely go nuts in trying to win a SB right now.   If signing Myles Garrett is the winning piece then he should go for it.  I'm accepting that when the Josh Allen prime years have ended, the Bills are going to suck for a bit.  So while he's here I'm ok with mortgaging the future.

he's one foot in the grave, and has two blown knees and a stump for his right arm!

lol, 28 year old nfl player of the year with insane attributes and the attitude of Cerebus, and people compare him to post acl von.

not to mention von got the rams over the hump for a chip and looked good w us until his knee went again.

if we are gonna roll w mcd, he needs his greg hardy.  garrett is that and way more.

Diggs got himself traded to Houston. Players can force those issues.

So he is in his 29th year of life, that and I like fudging numbers, lol, he none the less is approaching his drop off years,  time and tide waits for no man, a two year contract at most, with an easy out, we have huge needs across our defensive back field, those must be addressed,

Who else is bidding that much?  That is the question.   I think it's probably down to Detroit, Washington or Buffalo and the first two actually have less draft capital than Buffalo over the next two drafts.

I could see Dallas throwing their hat in the ring…a pass rush with Garrett and Parsons would be something to behold…and I’m sure Jerry’s in need of some attention, what with the recent success of Philly and Washington…

The Von Miller trade scenario terrifies me, ptsd

PTSD from what? Von got hurt. He was a monster before he did. Injuries can happen to anyone, even 1st round picks...See Burrow, Joe.

If Jacksonville wants him Cleveland will have the 2nd and 5th pick.

We’re only getting him if he wants to be here.

Jacksonville had better spend that pick wisely.

They are not a Myle's Garrett away from contention.

The price tag might be too high, but the Bills should absolutely be on the phone to Cleveland to see if they can get in on it.  I wouldn't mortgage the entire future to acquire any one player, but the Bills have got to see what's doing here.  They guy is a great player and a game changer that would certainly elevate the Bills.

Anyone remember Mario Williams?  He was a great pickup for the Bills, 43 sacks in 4 years, but only 5 of them in his last season here, which was his 30-year-old season. He went right off a cliff.

Myles Garrett is heading into his 30-year-old season.

Just sayin'

Mario Williams has never been the caliber of player that Myles Garrett is. Myles Garett is closer to Reggie White, than Mario Williams is to Myles Garrett.
