They just got rid of Carr, why bring in a worse version of the same guy for more money?   If there is one thing Brady ought to bring, it’s QB evaluation.  I see no way they swing for Darnold.

I hear the CFL is banning all foreign players as fall out from the tariff spat.  I can just see how the man-child fares in Sin City.  They'll be bailing him out of the slammer on a fairly regular basis. 🤨

I like Maye, but I'm expecting a big leap from him in year two. Too many of his yards came in garbage time. He had 1 win as a starter in which he played the majority of the game (Bears). Vrabel and McDaniels will be a big boost for him, but he still has a way to go before hes even remotely a threat to the Bills

HIs offense was innovative with the read option and fast paced spread offense in college.  Now everyone runs it.  He did not adapt well to the pro game. his Ohio State performance was hard to judge given the O-line injuries they had.  He called a terrible game against Michigan but the OSU kicker and QB played terribly too. 

He is nothing special as a play caller and certainly not worth making double what other OC's are getting.

I don't know, but I assume it's money.  I'd say that it's because Ryan Day is a dic#, but I think James Franklin might be even more of one.  But credit does go out to Day for rebounding from the Michigan loss to win the playoff.

When was the last time that a Chip Kelly’s offense succeeded without a big talent advantage? There were a lot of instances this season at tOSU that I did not care for his game plans and/or play calls. Certainly the Xichigan game. Also he seemed overly wedded to stretching the field horizontally even when those plays were not working. This is when he had the WR corps to run up and down the field against undermanned defenses.

really amazing a guy who every player on his team hated in his stints as OC and HC in the NFL got another chance and not only that, got paid at the highest rate of any OC in the NFL.
