Exactly, except you already know how good Jefferson is when you make the trade..........and the trade was with the Cowboys or 49ers or some other glamour team........and in the NBA any top 5 level superstar is as important as a QB whereas Jefferson is nowhere near as valuable as an Allen, Mahomes, Lamar, Burrow etc.. So that's how much worse this trade is, if put in NFL terms. Quote
thenorthremembers Posted Tuesday at 08:04 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:04 PM Hilarious the amount of people banging on the guy's work ethic, defense, and weight meanwhile still thinking Cuban owns the team. Is it that hard not to talk about things you have no clue about? He just won a scoring title and had his team in the NBA Finals. This trade had nothing to do with his basketball ability or his conditioning. It had 100% to do with the new owners of the team not getting their way with the Dallas Fort Worth politicians when it comes to building a sports betting casino around the current arena. They are sinking the franchise to try and force a move to Las Vegas. Three things are going to happen as a result of this trade Nico Harrison will never have another GM job in the NBA Dallas will see a dramatic decrease in ticket and merchandise sales Luka will continue his hall of fame career in LA and likely bring another championship there. I was a massive Mavericks fan but after the nonsense they just pulled forget it. On 2/2/2025 at 4:36 PM, aristocrat said: It’s like trading Justin Jefferson for Stefon Diggs. Then he dropped like 50 lb's just walking on jogging paths and watching silicone bounce. Lamb is a few inches taller than Luka but if he could get under 270 then no reason Luka can't. Luka will get in shape. He just took the Mavs to the finals last year. He's literally one of the 3-4 best players in the world. Currently 260 but still 6'5" - never could dunk though Knee replacement surgery = a potential "death spiral" repeat? You want silicone bounce? Venice Beach - Baby! Lot 1 - Pole 5 1 Quote
