I have it recorded on a VHS tape!  Still plays fine thirty five years later.  Like Jack points out, it's refreshing to go back to a time when the NFL was less sensationalized and flashy.

The best afternoon I have EVER spent watching Bills football (though Allen's playoff perfection against New England is right up there).  I was young, naive, and my favorite team played as close to flawless as it gets, propelling them to the Super Bowl!

Still... I do wonder how that game would have turned out had Bo Jackson not be injured against Cincinnati.  I still think the Bills win, but I'm thinking it would have been much more competitive.

I was there. We sat about 25 rows up behind the Raiders bench about the 25. The thud on the Tasker blocked punt was louder than the crowd and almost right in front of us. I'll never forget that sound.

"They've done it again.  They've done it again!"

I had some friends over for that game.  We barbecued while watching the Bills kill the Raiders.  I left feeling rather confident about the super bowl.  I rewatched the game last week for the first time.  The Raiders QB was spraying the ball.all I've the place and Lofton was awesome.  Norwood, well, you could tell.

Sounds like you're describing the 51-3 game.

The one OP posted was played earlier that year and was much closer.

I was a bit young to remember that 51-3 game but I just always assumed that was like a cake walk of a game for team.  So I was surprised to see earlier that season they had a much tougher battle against the Raiders.

It's weird watching these old games and not seeing the score and time on the screen, and all the stats, etc.

Yeah.  It sucks.

The video quality here is incredible! Thanks for posting!. Great memories of a game that I hadnt thought about in 35 years. Once I saw that blocked punt, I was reminded! What an incredible team that year. Great Defense, Offense and special teams (that part didnt end well :( ). An incredible amount of depth at so many positions. I also love Marv losing it at the refs on the sideline. McD should have been doing that a lot more vs KC at those lousy refs!
