Here is Kair and Rasul both getting easily cooked because of either how far off they played off the WR’s or when they did play press man were easily defeated.

No matter who you have rushing the passer on these plays it wouldn’t have made a difference.

Huge cushion all but one of those. Lining up that way is okay if you don’t want to tip the blitz, but you have to eat it up immediately at the snap. Nope. The CB just stayed soft. Ridiculous. It looked like the whole Cincy playoff game - especially with the ineffective blitzes.

My biggest issue for several years now is how McD is so adamant about playing this soft zone nonsense. He isn’t going to have a philosophical change at this point in his career. Right or wrong, it’s the reality.

Same with the Rams game this year, the corners looked completely outmatched.  Forget covering Nacua or Kupp, Benford couldn't cover Atwell.

the big benefit to his scheme is we can get by with very cheap players in the secondary. Don’t really need great players at corner or safety.

The problem is we can’t play this way and beat Mahomes in the playoffs.

Exactly. It doesn’t work when it counts

Yeah I'm not sure the bills can just sit back this free agency

Getting tee Higgins is something I would really like

Dj Reed , jevon Holland, Pat jones, Charles omenihu, etc

Then double down on those positions in the draft

2 cbs

2 dline or 2 dts

A safety

A linebacker

Then after June 1st sign a few vets with Von Miller's money

Throw in maybe 1 splash trade for a top player

Maybe Micah Parsons or something like that. But they gotta have an aggressive off season.

Would it be the most outrageous ask if Buffalo signed tee Higgins and traded for dk Metcalf. Do something to put us over the top

We deserve a world championship 🏆 and dominant team with Josh Allen

Nobody cares about the cap issues once Josh Allen is gone. Go get some playmakers. And preferably not as old as Von

I like DJ Reed, however whenever I watch Jet games he seems to be a flag magnet. And at terrible times too.

Not being sarcastic but Stephon Gilmore was flag magnet for us and then he switched teams the flags stopped. Sometimes officials just see what they expect to see for a team.

Paulson Adebo from the Saints could be an under the radar signing.

There's also a few guys coming off injury seasons than might be up Beane's alley. He seems to like to sign guys like that as well.

Malcolm Koonce is an EDGE guy I like in that column.

I don't watch the Jets enough to have a legitimate "Reed" on this.

But the last time I saw him vs the Bills he was just gawdawful.

Buffalo intentionally went after him and he was a complete pigeon out there.

He, like most of the Jets defense, fell apart after Saleh was let go

Yeah I'd bet Adebo is high on Beane's radar.  He was looking like a star in the making in 2023 but was banged up last year.   The Saints were a dumpster fire.  One of the more crazy stats on a team with a bunch of them was Adebo making 52 tackles in less than 7 full games.   And somehow still graded out atrocious in run defense per PFF.    I loved him as a fit for the Bills defense coming out of Stanford.

That is exactly how I viewed it as well.  The defense as a whole fell apart after Salah left and honestly I think their will to play at a high level disappeared once the bottom dropped out
