I agree which is why I'm hoping he gets drafted sooner. A 1T in the 1st round would be extremely underwhelming.

Thanks @gonzo1105 for all the work you’ve put in over the past few months and sharing your insights here. I’ve enjoyed reading these.

Im a trenches guy. So seeing Harmon fall past 30 and taking Amos would frustrate me unless the medical are legit.

I could live with CB at 30 and think it’s a likely scenario.

My top 3 options overall here would be

Harmon

Scourton

Amos/Revel

I'm sorry but my gut is telling me Amos  meh.  Arm tackler, Poor eye discipline/  doesn't turn head around for ball, can get beat in foot race, rated rd.2 etc.

Do we get through camp and still elect a vet to start instead?  Nope can't take that chance with 1st pick. Gimme Harmon or Scournton.

I find myself going back and forth between agreeing with this, but then also wanting a 1T in the first round, because I think a really good one would significantly help our defense.  Intellectually/on paper, it does make the most sense to target the premium position in the first (CB, Edge, or WR), and wait on a 1T.  But I also worry we're going to wind up missing out on the prospects who can contribute as rookies, and wind up with a developmental guy in the 5th or something.  The idea of rolling out Jones and Carter as our gameday 1T rotation makes me nervous.

I think Amos does make the most logical sense for the Bills in these mocks. A first round CB is basically guaranteed to be a starter and Amos is very good and has a clean medical history. His age isn’t normally what Beane looks for in an early pick is the only thing giving me pause from making this a lock if he is there at 30. I can’t get AZ Thomas out of my brain for the Bills, hopefully with a small trade down. We shall see.
