Can anyone verify if the below Tweet is true?

If it IS true, it is surely THE primary reason that Josh Allen doesn't have a ring yet.

For a defensive minded head coach who relentlessly preaches accountability, self-scouting, and growth mindset, this is just mind numbingly bad. Unforgivable, even.

What needs to happen for this to change?

I saw that tweet yesterday...I'm not exactly sure what it means tbh but I don't think you need Dov Kleiman to tell you that the Bills defense is the driver of our postseason failures, it's been plain as day for the last 4+years

“Most playoff wins when opponent scores 29+ points 1. Patrick Mahomes - 4 2. Tom Brady - 3 3. Peyton Manning - 2 3. Kurt Warner - 2 3. Joe Flacco - 2

Mahomes (4-2) is the only one with a winning record in this split.”

“Patrick Mahomes is the only QB to win a Super Bowl when his team allowed 25.0 points per game or more in the playoffs in both 2019 and 2022.

He won 2 super bowls with his defense allowing 25 points per game or more, in both 2019 and 2022.”

I think it's misleading since we're looking at only the last 5 losses for the Bills and comparing it against ALL playoff games for other teams.

The current Steelers team under Tomlin has lost their last 6 playoff games while allowing 38.3 PPG.

Still, I think McD's defense has been unforgivably bad in the playoffs and frankly should've been fired after the 13 second game.

Some of the D stats make for grim reading …

We know that they have put considerable resources into the D as well and can’t seem to find the answers

Back to the drawing board I guess ..

Maxx Crosby needs to happen. Buffalo needs to swing for the fences trying to acquire some elite talent on the defense, they have one all pro level player. Terrell Bernard. If not Crosby, then someone else. Beane needs to make them an offer they can’t refuse. Waiting for a player to develop especially another pass rusher is going to be hell.

Taron Johnson is an all pro, as is Milano

Benford could be one too

Did I read that correctly? You think Bernard is an all pro level player? He’s a solid LB but not anywhere near close to all pro, especially this year.

I think we need a game changing defensive tackle before Edge. The problem is no one is giving up those guys, so we might have to swing at DE. The game is changing where the best QBs are getting the ball out faster than ever which limits the impact an edge can have. A game wrecker up the middle is where we need to get to.

DT, CB, Safety, DE. Lots of needs going into next season.

Yes they were… unfortunately their best years are now behind them

Ya Taron didn't have a great season.

And of course injuries basically wiped the last two years away from Milano

Taron is wearing down with injuries as well… although not as serious as Milano’s…

Milano looked a bit better on the playoff run … I think he might only have 12 months left though ….. I hope they have a plan for Dorian to take over … but sometimes he still looks very green

The difference is that those three players are future hall of famers

We scored 42 points against the Rams, and LOST, while we had 70 people over for the neighborhood  holiday party. I just know they all talk about me behind my back now!   😊
