Will Kelce retire?

Right now the Taylor factor is to big for the NFL to not want KC to make it to the super bowl.  There is to much money to be had with her bringing in fans that would never watch the super bowl.

 

Let's hope this guy decides it's time to call it a career.

 

If not, next season will just be the same *****.

I'll celebrate more when Andy Reid decides to call it a career vs Mahomes or Kelce.  

 

I mean not to undermine how annoying Kelce/Taylor are but Andy is the main glue/brains behind the operations to me.

Yeah, the SB would have no one watching if KC didn’t make it. The nfl definitely rigged the game so they would have viewers this year.

He literally barely tries in the regular season and turns out in the playoffs. It’s a good gig. They said he was out of shape and had to work himself into shape this year.

The American male football fan market is completely saturated. The only way to grow the sport is to concentrate on global efforts (i.e. playing games overseas) and making the game more popular with women (i.e. Tay Tay on the TV).

I think she’s head over heels in love with her. She gains nothing from him. But I’m 100% convinced he is using her. CB, young girls will be watching this game that don't care at all about football. She is as big as (or the closest thing to) Elvis and the Beatles. Advertisers are not unaware of this.

Reid with Mahomes: 89-23 (79% winning), 17-3 playoff record,  7 championship games, 3 SBs. 
 

Reid without Mahomes: 182-120 (60%, fyi McDermott went 9-7 in his first year without Allen), 11-13 playoff record, 5 championship games, 1 SB loss. 

 

 Great point. Bills fans love discrediting the QB Reid traded up for (after he threw for 5000 yards and 53 tds his last year in college) while having a qb that took them to the playoffs (smith who once didn’t threw a td pass to a wr all season).

 

whispers, maybe an all time great qb is making Reid a much better coach.

I know how popular she is (I don’t mind some her songs, while my gf hates her!). But the nfl eats no matter what. Also, the Bills would have been a much bigger ratings draw at this point.

Sure, but they've always had that. They're trying to grow the audience. That's why they take a home game from teams every year to play important matchups overseas. It's a complete negative from a fair competition standpoint, but they do it anyway.

Man, I’m just over the rigging conversation. I feel like James Cook. Also, why aren’t people making millions betting on KC if it’s rigged? They have had really low odds the last 2 years.

I don't think it's rigged, but outcomes can be "encouraged" to some degree.

 

People didn't make a lot of money on KC because they didn't cover the spread much this year.
