What is your education and professional experience that would help you understand what he is saying, rather than just attacking the messenger?

Me? BSME MBA Years of project management, lived in Europe for a period in a business development role, started and sold 2 businesses, worked last 10 years consulting for banks and investment groups in primarily third party investment analysis and risk management.
But I’m sure following Julie Kelly beats that.

Who’s Julie Kelly? You come across as book smart but common sense seems to  be lacking.

This is interesting if not shocking, data. My conclusions:  there are many very wealthy congress people. An article I just looked at had Apple as the number one investment by them with 100’s of millions of their money invested.   Pfizer was 6th or 7 th that year. And if they based their bets on publicly available information, they just made a smart trade. If not, they should be prosecuted. Notably, the investors were bipartisan.

Maybe you should rethink your strategy. Trump’s treasury secretary gave investment advice today:  “Buy the dip”. You think he meant for investors to wait til summer 2026 to see a return?

I’m thinking there will be a rebound sooner but that will largely be for to trump pulling back from his stupid tariffs.

This.  I think the market is going to be flat until there’s clarity on the tariff nonsense.  After that, we shall see.  By then it might be too late for too much of a rebound if inflation gets hotter and job losses pick up.  Maybe Trump can think about that this weekend when he’s wasting more of our hard earned playing golf.

Hmmm..,….why should anyone to you?

What the hell does that mean?

I think you’re asking why should anyone listen to me? Well, they shouldn’t. I’m just someone on the internet who has his own opinion.

My bio? Not much to brag about. Unlike yours, I made my living in property management and investment. I was extremely fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time. In fact, I was able to retire at the age of fifty. I live  comfortably and couldn’t be happier! Thanks for asking. 👍🏻

Did you complain as much when biden went on vacation for weeks at a time? Yeah, I don’t think so.

Prosecuted? That's not how this works, bipartisan or not. Just ask Nancy Pelosi.

Good for you on the first point.  On the second point, I understand that people need vacation.  Were it not for the MAGA theory that we must now “Save America,” I wouldn’t harp on the golf.  But you’d think a patriot who is the only person capable of “Saving America” might want to put in a little bit more time on the “Saving” stuff and a little less time golfing.

This administration has done more in the last 40ish days than the previous administration did in 4 years, but please continue. I guarantee Trump spent less time golfing than Biden spent on vacation.

Eliitist? No….big difference between opinion and knowledge. This country is being run by people with opinions …and here we are.

My 2c. I analyze/vet individual loan scopes in my particular expertise. I don’t analyze the macro economy…that’s what the money does. Want to know what the money thinks? 5-6 years ago loans were 80 percent of appraised value..last year it was 60-65 percent of cost. If you do nt know what that means you shouldn’t be blathering …Basically $ taking foot off the gas in light of uncertainty accepting much less risk by demanding more equity.

I can tell you right now $ are not even looking at deals until 💩 for brains 47 gets a grip. As well equity not doing anything.

47 does not know what the hell he is doing. He is a day trader .ffs right now he is an hour by hour trader chasing losses.  That ain’t my opinion …didn’t come from some twitter feed. That’s what people with equity and debt are telling me with their actions.

No one voted for him because he would INSTANTLY improve the situation.

I know I didn’t.

Lots of reasons for voting Trump.  What does it matter - here 45 days in.

You definitely didn’t vote for Biden because the economy was doing well.

Okay, so what, specifically, is Trump's plan to fix it?

Yeah he illegally fired a ton of people and threw a tantrum in a meeting with Zelensky. Great stuff. Gold star, cookies for everyone.

a good friend is a local banker.  Has made 100's if not 1000's of loans, mostly to farmers.  His little bank is in the top 3 for farm loans.  but yeah, you mean a guy who would get a loan 5 years ago very well might not now.

I'm very much a buy and mostly hold investor.  I play with a little mad money.  otherwise I follow my advisors advice.  She's not saying to buy or sell right now.

Yes.  The multinational companies that manufactured Delaware and sell here are being impacted by the normalizing of tariffs.

Same multinationals and class that controls every aspect of the deka and their direct funding of said multinational companies with spending such as the anti inflation and chips act.

Like what exactly?.  Bluster about social issues, nonsense about Greenland, whiplash on tariffs, not delivering in the promise to close the Ukraine war, and hitting a driver off the deck in Mar a Lago?  All talk,  which is typical of Trump.

Me too.  Hold, hoard cash, and maybe deploy it if we get a really,  really bad day.

They cleaned up the border mess completely, which we were told couldn't be possible by the previous administration.

This is about to get interesting.  Which border got cleaned up?  And how?  Because, out of the other side of his mouth, he’s slapping tariffs on Canada and Mexico due to their alleged complicity in leaky borders.  So which story is true?

The record number of illegal border crossings. Glad I could help.

Does anyone complain of the tariffs Canada places on the US or does the rage only flow in one direction?

Not the issue.   What did trump do?  And if he did what you said, how can that justify his tariffs?  The two things don’t mesh.
