For once I agree with you. Americans all want to get rich being an influencer on TikTok.

While I agree with Trump on issues like immigration I don't agree on sanctions and tariffs. What he's saying to the rest of the world is America is going to compete but we have to win every time and if we don't we'll change the rules until we do. Basically  declaring economic war on everyone.

What can they do in response? One approach, submit and declare their obedience. Or eliminate the US dollar from their system of reserves and transaction settlement is another. Form greater trade alliances with other nations without Washington is another.

A metaphor: the cute girl who sits next to you asks for help on her homework. You refuse and say you don’t have time. You have to focus on yourself. She still needs homework help so she goes and gets it from the ####### guy on her right. Now you are left with no date for the dance while the girl and the ####### go steady.

Then your just like to B**CH about anything and would rather be dependent on other countries than have American made products to support our economy rather than say China's Right ?

I don't agree with the Tariffs on Canada being as they have been a partner in keeping ours and their economy strong, but if they are willing to let people cross into our country illegally then something needs to be done to stop America from becoming the welfare country and we need someone with a set to say NO MORE . which Biden didn't .

Everything in life in general comes with a certain amount of sacrifice but that is something that is no longer in the American vocabulary sacrifice has been replaced with Entitlement and that's a huge part of the problem .

Did he try any other diplomatic way to work with Canada since he's been in office for two weeks to solve his imagined grievances? Or did he go straight for the hammer? He's a blow hard, bully. Not to mention an idiot.

What I don't like is all the bull ***** from the right who had no idea what they were talking about with the Economy but just blamed Biden for 4 years.

We finally seem to be getting some of it under control at least and this ass comes in and drops a bomb on it and you dumb mother ***** are fine with it. You're all full of *****. If the Economy blows up you all will have to own it. The right will be voted out faster than you can imagine and I will laugh and dance on your grave. Then we will be stuck with all the Dem BS again!

Are the people being detained in the news meat packing workers and farm laborers from Mexico or are they gang members and child sex traffickers from countries such as Venezuela, Haiti and South Korea? There is a huge difference between migrant workers coming up for labor (which has happened for over a century.) and countries all over the world dumping off their criminals and illiterates to the US (started and escalated in the last five years) because they knew about how lax Biden was.

One of the main reasons that Trump won was his promise to crack down on illegal immigration and for better or worse, he is making good on that. Right now, the focus seems to be on the criminals, something that most rational people have no problem with.  Where this will get interesting is how far Trump takes it and where most Americans draw the line. I worry about it going too far, but also like what I have seen to this moment.

True, it didn't seem Biden was sentient to know what he was doing for four years. However the Dems put him in the position of "head of state," thus he gets the blame anyway.

As i said i do not agree with as you said just dropping the hammer on Canada especially but they along with every one else have to know that what has been happening will no longer be tolerated and i think that is the message with this . The other gov't can come to the table or at least reach out and say lets talk if they want to help the situation .

When he was in office before he did the same thing to Mexico and they came to the table and helped to stop some of those coming through their country to get to America and it did make a difference but then along came Joe, slow talkin Joe Slow walkin Joe to change it all and then it became historically bad .

So someone has to draw a line in the sand and be strong in their conviction . I hope by him being this strong it doesn't come back & bight us in the ass which is a possibility but i would rather have some one be strong than be the push over that was and has now left others to clean up the mess which is in part a huge piece of this problem .

No longer tolerated. You suggest we take advantage of your country.

We sell you heavy oil which you need at discount prices for many years, we have lost our auto industry, much of our parts industry, listen to you whine about our forestry products being too cheap and that is unfair, listen to Wisconson cry about not being able to sell artificial cheese, and we do not use your yellow chemical chicken.

Defend you in the dispute with China including arresting Chinese business people at trumps request, then he caved,

We have a country bigger than yours which costs money to build roads, rail with a population of 10%.

Frankly, we cannot tolerate a friend who doesn't value our friendship.

Mass deportations implies all that "broke the law." Why are you shifting goal posts now?

It's all political theatre. He is scapegoating a poor, powerless population for harrassment and government thuggery, all for politics.

He promised mass deportation and is just putting on a show for his MAGA base and they (you) seem to believe that nonsense

“Something around 50% of U.S. petroleum imports come from Canada. The Trump administration puts tariffs on those, it is unequivocally the case that everything in the United States will become substantially more expensive,” House told CNBC in an interview. “The breadth of the impact that we should expect to see from these tariffs could be enormous and could affect every single thing we produce in the United States and every household and every business. No one will be immune.”

This is not about concessions...give you head a shake. This is economic war...against your best friend...for 150 years...fought together, cried together, shared everything, great events, attacks, holidays etc etc.

You got what you asked for, what we got is uncalled for. Imagine China 10%...Canada 25%...

Trump bargained the trade agreement he says is bad.

I for one demand the removal of Gilbert Perreault banner from the rafters and Will never use the word Buffalo when ordering wings again.
