Syracuse Basketball used to help, not so much anymore.

Free Agency is always a wild week & March Madness typically starts that week too.

Draft in April.

Then NBA Playoffs for anyone who cares.   Bills will have some random OTA’s in May & June.  Then training camp and we’re back.

NFL actually does a decent job making itself year round, even if the season is only September - February.

When I was younger I loved all sports.  Watched baseball, hockey, college hoops, etc.  But as I've gotten older my passion for other sports and teams has dwindled or completley fallen off.  I will still watch the hockey playoffs and march madness but neither hold nearly the same interest to me that they once did.  There is the Buffalo Bills and the NFL, that's it.  It's all I am passionate about anymore; thus the long dark void of the offseason is more brutal these days.  The next tring I truly will get excited about is the schdule release, even more so than the draft.  Because then I can start planing and envisioning being in the stadium again.

Definitely going to make the trip up from NJ for a Bills home game next season being that is the last year of the current stadium. Then again in 2026 for the first year at the new place.

Honesty, just enjoy life. There use to be two seasons for me. Football season and the off season and I started counting down the Days till football season on day 1 of the offseason. No more, I enjoy the offseason, at least the bills are not letting me down during the offseason!

What to do until September?  If in WNY…enjoy summer.

My wife and I bought a WaveRunner last year and we’ve been taking it to tons of different lakes. It has a very large bills decal on each side which always starts lots of dock conversations. Upstate New York is absolutely beautiful in the summer.

Today is my least favorite day of the year, where I bury all my Bills shirts in the back of the drawer to avoid them for at least a few months.

It's the first day I could even bring myself to look at them.

Can’t tell you how proud I am of these Bills.  Garbage result as we all know, but they’ll be better next year and they were very good (despite the rebuild).

It took me 3 days to cancel my Buffalo hotel reservation for next weekend.  That hurts as much as the game honestly…it was going to be the weekend of a lifetime.

I’ll utilize that resource for other trips to double down on my fandom for now. Ellicottville, East Aurora, Rochester…here we come.  I need to be surrounded amongst those vibes well before the season comes.

I can’t say that I’ve ever been to Fisher, and I know it’s trickier now but I’ll definitely will make that a priority this summer.

The hardest part about this loss isn’t the chiefs…it’s the wait.

If you are going to miss the Bills after the season then I would suggest learning to follow the draft year round or at least starting to get to know the prospects in late fall.   We have our people who get angry at offseason discussion on the board in-season but it's great to be able to pick right up with offseason stuff right after the season ends.   Eliminates that void entirely because there is a never ending supply of draft info now.   I follow the draft(and college recruiting) year round but actually start ramping up more on the draft DURING the NFL playoffs because most of the talking head nonsense leading up to the games is only interesting if you enjoy having your buttons pushed by the media.  Did anyone really have anything to learn from "expert" opinions on Mahomes v Allen version 9.0?

I would also add wait for the schedule release. Looking at the home schedule I see quite a few opportunities for primetime games.

Eagles, KC, Baltimore will certainly be prime time games.

Living in Atlanta, I already plan to go to the Atlanta and Carolina games and will certainly go to a home game.

I enjoy free agency in hopes we get a few difference makers. The draft Imo is the most over hyped event in history. It's incredibly rare, especially under beane and McDermott, that anyone they pick makes an immediate impact. The wait for the season sucks, and when the season is here, it goes so fast.

Regardless of the loss. It was totally awesome beating the big physical juggernaut Baltimore Ravens. Everybody and their grandma thought the Bills would get annihilated on the ground. It was the high point of the season for me followed by the low point.
