Can’t tell you how proud I am of these Bills.  Garbage result as we all know, but they’ll be better next year and they were very good (despite the rebuild).

It took me 3 days to cancel my Buffalo hotel reservation for next weekend.  That hurts as much as the game honestly…it was going to be the weekend of a lifetime.

I’ll utilize that resource for other trips to double down on my fandom for now. Ellicottville, East Aurora, Rochester…here we come.  I need to be surrounded amongst those vibes well before the season comes.

I can’t say that I’ve ever been to Fisher, and I know it’s trickier now but I’ll definitely will make that a priority this summer.

The hardest part about this loss isn’t the chiefs…it’s the wait.

As soon as the season ends, I start looking forward to the start of Free Agency. That's March 12th - a month and a half away.

I start analyzing the salary cap. The state of the roster. Our impending Free Agents. The contracts of the team that can be restructured, contracts that we can get out of, guys we may cut. Then a look at who's out there at positions of need. Create rankings at those positions. Looking at guys who are rumored to be on the Trade Market. Once Free Agency starts, the board comes alive and we all hang on the rumors of who we're looking at and analyze the signings we've made.

The NFL Combine starts even sooner than that on February 27th. Less than a month away. I watch that as my first look at the Draft prospects. After the first couple weeks of Free Agency, I start looking into Draft prospects at positions of need that we haven't yet addressed. Watching footage, reading up on them, gauging where analysts have guys, and creating my own little Draft board by position. Then the Draft happens on April 24-26 and that's an all consuming affair for me.

The hardest part is Post-Draft. There's about 3 months between the Draft and the start of Training Camp. But long story short, there's plenty of Bills stuff to look forward to between now and the start of the season. For us roster building obsessed, wannabe GM fans, the offseason can be just as fun around here.

Cheer for the Eagles.

Do some dark voodoo rituals against Mahomes/Chiefs.

The Eagles are so unlikable though.  Siriani, Fangio, Brown, Carter, Hurts.  Just not fans.  Saquon and the running back resurgence is a cool story this year I guess.  The best Super Bowl result imo is an Eagles blowout with Saquon winning MVP and Mahomes throwing five picks all in the direction of Kelce.

Hockey especially playoff hockey. Then the Yankees as baseball season will be here soon.

Then we can compare the Dodger$ to the ‘98 Yankees.

I’ve been masochistic and habitual coming back to the board.  I’m not unhappy with any of you, I’ve just been so deflated since Sunday.  I woke up Monday morning and my wife asked me why I was so upset.  I told her, you don’t understand.   We live for our Bills.  I’ll move on, but need to get away as some of the messages have just been out of anger and frustration.

Over analyze, Over react, pay too much attention to rumors, read the 831 iterations of the mock draft, and probably hit my bourbon stock aggressively... and fish.

When I was younger I loved all sports.  Watched baseball, hockey, college hoops, etc.  But as I've gotten older my passion for other sports and teams has dwindled or completley fallen off.  I will still watch the hockey playoffs and march madness but neither hold nearly the same interest to me that they once did.  There is the Buffalo Bills and the NFL, that's it.  It's all I am passionate about anymore; thus the long dark void of the offseason is more brutal these days.  The next tring I truly will get excited about is the schdule release, even more so than the draft.  Because then I can start planing and envisioning being in the stadium again.
