Pax Americana is dead because of Biden, not Trump. Trump has zero wars and Biden could not stop the 3 that happened.

Trump has telegraphed to the world that we are not trustworthy and our treaties hold no merit. He constantly posts about annexing Canada and Greenland. He just ordered new military strikes in Somalia. You've lost the narrative completely and, truthfully, I don't think you even believe it.

no, do not agree.  read what I wrote.

we agree 80% and I feel that is enough. I will tell you that amongst my students those who work hard and are above average intelligence outperform the lazy gifted kids always.

yeah, that's not the scenario I proposed.  Do the gifted lazy kids outperform the grinding, dumb ones?

based on posts here, I think they do believe it and like it.  very much.  And therefore the pre election rhetoric was window dressing, even for the rank and file.  Unsure if they fully expected it but they certainly don't seem angry.

Whenever I want to know the world's view I turn to Roundybout.  LOL

Oh look, his repetitious "you've lost the narrative" claim.

There is absolutely no evidence mind you, but he will claim it over and over. . . . . . . . . . . (mostly for his own benefit I suspect)

Military strikes in Somalia like Obama? Treaties that we uphold but not the other side? Got it.

What does the "other side" not uphold?

First question- the grinding dumb ones sometimes outperform the gifted on the final. I currently have a gifted kid who has 45 absences in the first 100 days, all his intellect won't matter if he can't understand the question.

As for second part- your belief that the federal government was doing almost anything effectively is where we disagree. I accept a certain amount of hatred from foreigners, especially ones that were profiting off of the dysfunction.

Which treaty do you want to discuss in regards to Trump?

How about NAFTA 2? The thing that he created and is now ignoring?

He put in a 6 year renegotiation into the first deal, he is renegotiating as the deal states. Harris said she would renegotiate if she won also

Trump negotiated (well, had negotiated at his bidding) NAFTA 2.0.

Now he is brazenly violating his own agreement.

Negotiating does not include unilateral changes to the agreement that haven't been agreed upon.

Assuming that's at all what's going through his head, what kind of negotiations begin with catastrophic economic damage? Why would Canada ever negotiate in good faith after this?

Is turning our back on our neighbor and ending Pax Americana what you call “getting on track?” Is that the marching order you’ve received?

Back under your rock, lefty. Move along.

Renegotiations means you start over if one side does not agree to maintain the previous agreement. I get you guys don't like the tariffs but to pretend he is violating the treaty when it has a renegotiation window is dumb. If you had a contract and could renegotiate would you not try and get the most money you could?

Here's hoping your employer doesn't decide to "renegotiate" your contract by immediately cutting your salary by 25% and then saying no worries, we'll have a new deal in place by 2026.

You seem to think the purpose of Trump is to make the best deal for the socialist party of Canada. Trump has a job to make the best deal for Americans first, not to worry about the damage that Trudeau has done to his country. Truly the best thing Trump can do is show Canada that their leader is a feckless loser

My wife had to deal with this in 2010 when the salaries were frozen for 4 years due to the recession. I was not a teacher at the time but it did effect me. Part of the teacher problem was the union leader was crook who used all the money to enrich his friends instead of fighting for better pay. It took years to get rid of all of them because the idiots that are teacher loved them for fighting "the man". It truly is a pretty good analogy and in the end it made my transition to teaching in 2013 easier because so many teachers were leaving because the union was worthless.

So I am right and 4th is wrong. I agree with what you say here, but will expand a little further. High level parents don't let their children around low level kids if they can help it. High level parents sacrifice time and money to ensure their kids have the right example and surroundings. The only thing that 4th is correct about is that effort almost always outweighs talent, but talent plus effort will win.

Of course you can't teach people, you are in it for just a paycheck. The students don't want to learn and it is convenient for you to say they can't do it because you are too lazy to try to get through to them.  A paycheck is not enough motivation. You need to find another line of work. You are the equivalent of a DEI hire.

This is awesome, how you got that from what I wrote only proves you are illiterate. Just because you are fun I will ask how am I DEI?
