It is impossible to answer that question. There is no accident that is directly related to DEI practices, because controllers don't control aircraft.

I have pointed out two situations that resulted in death from this practice.

One was the F-14 crash killing Karen Hultgreen, who was put in that position, incompetent as she was, because she was a woman.

The other was not named but I am extremely familiar with because I flew as his lead the sortie his death, and he was a black man who should have never been in that position, based on his training performance.

By the way, a truly great guy, just not capable.

Back to the subject, the FAA hiring and promotion practices have grossly impacted the industry, but killing people isn't something in their purview.

Ultimately, they don't have the stick.

If I am reading that right. Who here sees what is wrong with this sentence?

Soo if these situations happen and it's a white male who caused it. What do we call it? Just an accident?

Fake news.

The investors is over? This was ruled dei hire? Not bad for a bills fan on a message board.  When did they blank it on the atc?

I have no idea what this post means, or is intended to mean.\

The point is that it didn't happen to a white male.

It happened to a female who had demonstrated the same problem before, and there is a record of it.

She was in that position because she was a female and the Navy was intent on getting her through to be the first service to do so.

This desire cost her her life, and a 50 million dollar airplane.

How many people are walking around knowing about a FAA "lawsuit" at this juncture and that's including the many people that fly everyday. I would think with something as serious as the amount of lives that are in the sky. That would be news that's continually at the forefront. Not saying it's a lie. But you seem to talk like this is common knowledge

And again has nothing to do with this situation...it's a debate because the president brought it up for no reason. That sentence here is really not hard to comprehend.

And really I am not gonna debate the slippery sloppy about the culture bias of a test, testing one's mental capacity

Cause I'm gonna ask you. Do you believe any black man and/or woman hired in that time frame to not be as  intelligent as a white man?

It's just a yes or no question. Tell the truth.

Not sure where you live but Orlando is a big time airport and when it is having issues running properly it is big news in the area. This lawsuit is known hear by people who fly a lot, or in my case used to fly a lot, and keep up with it. As for you direct question: yes, there are lots of black people who fulfill the requirements. What do the qualified people have to do with the unqualified people?

If it is fake news then you need to tell ABC, NBC & CBS because they had it on every night for the first week after the fires couldn't be contained . Not to mention every time i've been out there in the past 5+ meaning before and after the pandemic i have seen with my own eyes the signs about the gov't shutting off the water supply all because of a guppy and why the gov't has created a dust bowl so i will have to say you are FOS because you haven't a clue .

But i am personally so glad that you are the preeminent authority on fake news !  But i will hold to my personal opinion that you are you FOS with some of your answers ?

And this best and brightest stuff is bull *****. Every human has a brain and can be taught or trained to do anything. I played high school football with a dude who went on to become a doctor. Was he smarter than me? No, I sat in class with him. He just worked his ass off.

This is completely untrue.

I guess that high school football career delivered a few unfortunate knocks to your noggin!

Do tell.

The Pratt & Whitney TF30-P-414A engine was notorious for compressor stalls, which had claimed the lives of many Tomcat crews before Hultgreen.

Just out of curiosity, what happened to Dale "Snort" Snodgrass?

It almost seems like Frankish and others like him get a sense of joy when there is a national tragedy? I don't understand it really.

It's all they have. They've been exposed and are out of power. Their bitterness in losing this last election will bring out nothing but contempt and hate. Even at the expense of others demise. Sad.
