I would like Ricard the Baltimore FB to come in and be the 6th OL and FB, he is a free agent currently.

 

This reporting eligible thing causes trouble in crucial games.

 

Otherwise later in the draft choose the best blocking TE hopefully at 280lbs or above and make him TE4/OL6 combination.

We will be a different variation of a relatively stable great team with an elite QB next year. Whether that makes us top-4, top-2 or top-1 depends on more than a few things.

 

If you think there is a narrative and a past predicts the future, you certainly would not have understood the 2003 to 2004 Red Sox. Or you wouldn't understand how Peyton Manning would be a two time MVP with nine NFL seasons and no Super Bowls before becoming a two Lombardi QB. Or you wouldn't understand John Elway playing 14 years and not only never winning a super bowl but losing three times in four years, before becoming a two Lombardi QB.

 

This year was awesome until it wasn't, and as has happened before we were one or two plays away from getting over the hump. This organization is excellent and committed to doing it again. We will still run into some 50/50 toss up games at the season (or 60/40 or 40/60), and the odds of going 2-0 in a pair of those are only 25%. Do we get enough ahead of the Ravens and Chiefs to have that substantially better than 25%? I sure hope so. But even if not, taking another crack at it will sure be fun.

I'm not sure if it is next February, but I will be at the parade, and I will enjoy it a lot.

Our offense is fine, even our bad games in the playoffs we scored 27 points. The defense needs one big fatty in the middle like Dexter Lawrence. Jones is passed his prime and not that effective anymore, if we had that our defense would be elite. We could also improve our Safeties but a great D Tackle stops all receivers.

As others have noted e need two elite, impact players:

 

*  One guy for the D so that once or twice a game we can depend on them causing something bad to happen to the opponents offense at a critical moment in the game.

 

*  One guy on the O who alongside Allen can create synergistic opportunities for truly game changing, impactful plays on offense.

Way too early to call Coleman a JAG, he looked like he was getting things right before the injury. Although Rousseau is not an elite edge rusher he is most certainly not a JAG, 8 sacks is respectable and had 1 each in the Broncos/Ravens games also. We definitely still need an elite edge rusher opposite of him and some speed at WR imo.

I rewatched some of the Early season highlights of Kincaid vs the jags and jets. Looks way more smooth and better. So I really think the injuries contributed to his regression. He's just too talented imo

I don’t have much hope for Carter.  He made on nice goal line stop against Tennessee but aside from that he’s been really bad.  Easily one of the worst players in the defensive line, so much that they made him a healthy scratch.  He can get better, but at this point he seems to be trending toward having a ceiling of a depth lineman.  
 

Solomon had some nice pass rushing snaps this season but he’s so bad against the run it limited when he could play.  Again, at this point I think I think his ceiling is a situational pass rusher. 
 

Overall Kincaid hasn’t been a bad player for Buffalo, but he’s hasn’t lived up to draft status.  The drop last week is a great example.

While I've seen enough of many along the DL, I am willing to see more of Carter and Solomon. 

 

Kincaid was non-existent. That as to change - quick.

 

Coleman was over-drafted. I'm hoping for some contribution. He better be more than a 4 (for Beane's sake).

Sorry. I don’t agree. As long as McDermott is the coach, the Bills will NEVER beat good team with a good QB in the playoffs like the Chiefs or the Bengals and the Ravens will be 50/50. McDermotts system is built to win during the regular season but NOT against good playoff teams. That’s why they have not won a road playoff game or beaten the Chiefs when it matters. This was a watershed  game for me. The Bills will continue to be good, have a winnng record, make the playoffs and probably win a playoff game but that’s as far as they get. Allen is the reason they are so successful. I feel that if they made some changes, that might get them over the top as I feel no matter who coaches them, they will still be successful with Josh. I also feel that McDermott had reached his potential and that maybe the players are too comfortable. Maybe we need someone like Parcells who will push them. Just my opinion fwiw.
