BillsShredder83 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 2 hours ago, MJS said: That's the right mentality for a player. Don't worry about the refs. Dominate so they can't even be a factor. You're right. And this is right. At the same time in a conference championship, DOMINATING enough to overcome refs vs a top tier team going for a SB trip is a tall ask. It's like having to win against the spread, and Chiefs started with +7. +7 refs is incredibly generous too. We had a chance to score on the previous drive for sure... but to have points taken away, and flip that into 7 pts for KC. Ended up being a 10pt call at minimum, 14 at worst. Nothing any of us can do, but it would've took a -7 to -10 effort to squeak that game out. Baffling the league just refuses to fix this. Make refs full time. Pay them. Make it an actually competitive field to get into, no nepotism. Add a chip in the ball. Give NY HQ's a choice to chirp into the game for major calls. I don't even mind the bad calls. Those are what they are.... the inconsistency of interpretations and enforcement is what's really ruining the game. Develop and enforce one standard. Not have 20crews with different artistic interpretations. Dictate these terms to the crews, it's their job. If they can't or won't adhere to those dictations, they can go call school ball 1 Quote
Process Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Cook was the only guy on offense who showed up ready to play. Should have been feeding him all game. 2 2 Quote

JROC INTEL Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Honest question, do we have the dough to resign him? Quote

PoundingDog Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Appreciate the interview. Have a little Marshawn vibe when he spoke but definitely more low-key, not looking for trouble type of guy. When they talk about generational wealth, you can see his eye lit and even said "I'm trying." If the Bills approach him thsi off-season, you get the feel a deal would be done, probably more reasonable than you think. My prediction is, like Beane has always done, Bills will extend him late in training camp before the 2025 season. So they get to see how the guy looks, and probably get the best version because they have been working hard off-season for their contract year. The projection is a bit tricky. Is 2024 the best of Cook's career? If not, how much better? One part of his weakness is blocking, which has prevented him from being on the field for 3rd down. Cook has gotten stronger noticeably in 2024. I don't know he'll improve much in that area going forward. Very reasonable to assume he'll keep the current level of output when he's 26, 27, and 28. Would Cook be willing to sign a 3 year extension and hope for another contract when he's 28? Quote
Uncle Monkeyhead Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I don't know the guys doing the interview but I thought the audio was behind. That dude on the right....I thought his audio was of the guy on the left 🤣 Quote
KentuckyBillsFan Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Love this dude. Clearly has that alpha mentality this team sorely needs. Priority to extend his contract this off season IMO Quote
