Simon Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Did they ask him whether he was pissed because the Bills didn't even glance at the best galdanged player on their offense during the final drive? 4 2 1 3 Quote
tigerthelion Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Thought before the season it was foolish to give him an extension (RB and all) but I am coming around to keeping him in Buffalo. His performance in the KC game was stellar. He likely should have been utilized more on some of those downs where they went with Allen tumbling forward for next to no gain. He's a weapon and should be treated as such. His drops in the prior year were a concern but I am definitely coming around to him sticking with the team. 6 3 Quote
MJS Posted January 30 Posted January 30 That's the right mentality for a player. Don't worry about the refs. Dominate so they can't even be a factor. 3 6 Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I'm not big on giving RB's big contracts. I really like him though, and feel he is the type that once he gets the money, he won't change. 2 2 Quote

McD in addressing the team before the game, told them don't expect any help from the refs in KC. The team needs to play well enough to negate the refs. He added they didn't do that. 1 Quote
gomper Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Jimmy Johnson said something to his team in 88 after UM got screwed on the Cleveland Gary fumble. "I told you, when you go to Notre Dame, you can't leave it in the hands of the refs." I believe that applies here. 3 1 Quote

I always thought that the "Experts" saying that RB's were a dime a dozen was BS and the good RB's are starting to prove it . You couldn't just put any RB in the Bills or the Eagles offense and have them do what they've done this season which just goes to prove all of those knuckle heads wrong !! 2 1 Quote
Sojourner Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Dude was one of the few who came in that B ready to play, ready to go. So disappointed for Jimbo we didn’t make a superbowl after that TD effort on 4th down by him. 5 5 1 Quote
Steptide Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Hope they can lock him up quickly. Don't let him go somewhere else. He's gonna be a super star 1 Quote

I do think there is a bit of a shift in the league toward running the ball more. I’m FAR too lazy to do it myself, but I’d be curious to see how the percentage of run plays has shifted over the last 5-10 years for the league in general and for playoff teams. Teams went light (like we did) to stop the passing game. That becomes an opportunity for teams that can pound the ball. . Edited January 30 by Augie 1 2 Quote
