what I meant was if UConn keeps having disappointing seasons how many kids are going to want to play for coach Hurley.  Especially with his style of coaching 

It's tough to reload off of back-to-back national championships 

 

College basketball isn't like college football where Alabama was in the final four 6-8 years

 

Even Duke doesn't go to the elite 8- final 4 every year..  there's just a lot of turnover In basketball especially where freshmans and sophomores Go pro

 

 

I'm sure they'll be a top 20 team again next year

I'm not a big college basketball fan per se.  But there's some nice nostalgia seeing St. John's have success again.

I’m a big Xavier fan and about to turn on the Big East Tournament from MSG. I just can’t enjoy it the way I used to because of the constant turnover. I used to follow high school recruiting, then watch players develop over 3-4 years.  With all the portal activity and NIL it’s like a new team getting picked at the YMCA every year. Who are these guys? 

 

I don’t begrudge the players freedom or compensation, I just don’t like the resulting product as much. 🤷‍♂️

Enough to watch him once or twice a year I guess.

Which also happens to be the same number of times I watch, Baylor, Creighton, St Joe's, Western Kentucky, etc.

I don't find him particularly interesting, he just seems like the kind of whiny, self-involved jackass that I enjoy seeing sent home.

I’m sorry, I’m in mourning for the loss of giving a crap about college basketball. I’ll be mildly interested, unlike the NBA which I change channels to avoid. I’ve been saying for a while I don’t mind player mobility or compensation. That’s just fair to me. The portal and NIL just result in a lesser product that I care less about.
